An excellent review. Very detailed and honest. I bought this vehicle with the Plus and Pilot package just last month and am very happy with it. The only issue I have is that the Android phone app is feature-poor and very unreliable and can't retrieve the car's location. Likewise, using the phone as a digital key is equally unreliable.
Thanks for watching and for your honest review of the Polestar infotainment system, we hope your happiness only continues further 👍 If you enjoyed the review, make sure to subscribe: bit.ly/319ZKoT
@@drali19741 I have the dual motor with leather seats. To be honest I think both the Plus and Pilot packages are necessary to bring the car up to scratch as far as technology and comfort. I have both and would not have wanted the car without either of those packages.
Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to test drive this vehicle at night, so couldn't comment. However, I am sure that some of our other viewers that have had experience with the Polestar 2 may be able to share their opinions on the lights 🙂
Polestar costs more, will tank in resale, range is terrible compared to the model 3, no super charging network. Most comment sections on reviews of this car are filled with owners who have problems and would not recommend them.
Funny thing is that where I live the supercharger network is worse compared to what other parties have set up (the combination). Polestar 2 has a lot of weaknesses, for example it’s developed on top of a ICE foundation so there’s a lot of inefficiencies in its design. And Teslas are a bit more expensive, but they definitely are on the same price bracket. My experience is that both are good cars (just test driven), for my use (a couple 10 hour driving trips per year to visit family). But Tesla is a bit better overall. I prefer Polestar tho’ overall, but it does have some annoyances. Neither are perfect and have room for improvement. My father, a diehard BMW fan, bought the i4 M50 so I can test drive it too. I’d be happy to own either.

@@rivervalegroup you're welcome - the car's infotainment system is great. My only beef is for the mobile app on my phone.
did u get single motor or dual motor and your thoughts on plus vs pilot package

14:01 says the side mirrors are small. 14:10 says the side mirrors are large... So their size can change in just a few seconds? 🤔
What’s your thoughts about the lights? Without the pixel technology… have you test the car at night ?

Don't you get adaptive head lights in the UK? One of the best systems and very important in countries with mooses and fear.
ordered mine last Friday 🙂
Fantastic! We hope you love it 🙂
Jst reviewed this car, thought it was pretty good
That thumbnail is confusing I though this was a new color :D
It’s a fastback. Not a hatchback.
Model 3 wins in my book anytime, in so many ways, not to mention tesla charging infrastructure second to none.

I just tried it out, I thought it looked good but I'd take my Tesla over it any day

Not sure why you are deleting my comment?? The PS2 is taller and wider. Please get your info correct.
No,a Kia EV6 is what I'd go for!
This review would have been great 18 months ago.
a like for 4.50
Long range only returned 270 miles in real world , for 50K not impressed. Plus that nerve killing indicator sound, deal breaker 😳
Aside from the fish-faced model 3 Tesla, all EVs in the $50k price have similar range.
Are you referring to the single motor PS2?
I really like the indicator sound, lucky me 🙂
So rythmic and odd
Nah too pricey for a car made in China.
Tesla model 3 are made in china too with a starting price higher than the polestar 2
Most of them are made in China. If you are lucky so will your Tesla. They have higher build standards than the American made version.
It's not a cheap Christmas decoration, lol! Made to Swedish specs and better quality for it.
@@presterjohn71 Wouldn't but a Tesla either
@@susand9296 Still need to avoid Chinese goods as much as possible. Buying Chinese made goods means that you are supporting a terrible regime!
