I've said for last 30 years that the KLF were the apex of pop music. It's been downhill ever since. Thank god the back catalogue is now available so that two generations can understand that they've been buying crap instead of quality.
@@KiLN_ Ah, good man! don't expect much but still would like to hear it :D Bit bittersweet this new channel... Great to get the official vids in top quality but a bit of a stinker to get loads of new copyright claims on my content... From the Kopyright Liberation Front no less :|
@@KiLN_ Yup! Video footage too... I did a mock Stadium House IGUN video the other week and a small portion of the official video (no audio) that I used got it flagged. You have some quality content on here btw, I like to think I have some unique stuff too so I hope youtube don't just delete copyrighted vids like they did a few years back.
They don't tell you that Bill Drummond still makes money from the Proclaimers and Echo and the Bunnymen Royalties - so he never left the music business!!!
Maybe is me, but for many decades had been thinking how an overnight sensation like The KLF simply disappear from the music industry and only compared to Milly Vanilli which was claimed as if they were lip synching another musician's recording, to the point radio stations banned their music and their Grammy Awards for best new artist were stripped out. KLF deleted their music recordings, for no apparent reason, while the Milly Vanilli catalog was deleted by a record label's decision. What is ironic... All the Milly Vanilli's music was still available to stream, but no KLF music was available to stream prior to 12/31/20 . Well, glad their music still lives on and hoping the original catalog gets released cause I've never got enough of their music with their short lived careers in 1991-92.

Has that radio play ever been released?
It was on Radio 4 a couple of years ago. Still available as a podcast www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06x35s5/episodes/downloads

Let's see how quickly we can get them to number 1.
Make mine a 99.
I’ll have a Cornetto
Yeah, buy it don’t stream it, which I think is really odd thing for the to do.
Samplecity thru Trancentral, basic facekick elemental..
They're releasing an eight track. Thank god I've still got the player in my 1962 Ford Cortina.
Would sound even better in 1968 Ford Timelord.
