  • Botetourt County (founded 1770) spans 546 square miles in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. The James River runs through the northern portion of the county. It is home to the incorporated towns of Fincastle (county seat), Buchanan, and Troutville, as well as several unincorporated communities such as Daleville and Cloverdale.
