Ezekiel 45:18 ..". you shall take a young bull and cleanse the sanctuary "
Dan 8::14 .... "then shall be proven right the Holy " This is speaking of Jesus Christ
for the Lord Jesus said..." not one stone shall be left standing ,not one upon another that shall not be cast down."
For the Lord knew the terrible wrath that was to befall Jerusalem and the Temple , as described in Dan 8.
Jesus made a new covenant of justification by faith in his name only Son of God and sanctification by his blood of past sins and regeneration by obedience. We have rest from the struggle to attain righteousness by our deeds.. this is the new covenant sabbath.
That is absolutely ridiculous…so when Jesus said “it is finished” it actually wasn’t…your and my sins are still on the books of heaven…😢
Not until Jesus comes can we rest in the finished work if Christ? Furthermore…if the earthly sanctuary is a copy and shadow as Ted says…then why is there a veil in heaven? The veil was torn from top to bottom ending the separation between God and man…now we can come boldly to the Throne if grace…the veil is Jesus Christ…because he became sin for us, and the wages of sin is death…this He was torn, taking on the separation caused by sin, and putting it to death! So how then is there a Holy and Most Holy in heaven…He and the Father are one…Wherever He is…is The Most Holy! SDA’s Read all of Hebrews, and you will see how wrong this doctrine is…it distorts the gospel and takes away the assurance of salvation!
