Oh yes my parents loved Famous Barr! Was there for a long time! Back in the 80’s there was a Downtown shopping mall with Stix Baer and Fuller and Famous Barr. St. Louis used to be a good city with a wonderful downtown!
I was just there last month. There’s still ways to get in, but you pose the risk of getting locked in if a cop drives by and sees a steel door open he’s screwing it back up, not even searching the building you will get locked in. That place is extremely more fucked up in there now the staircase is more beyond fucked. People have been scrapping the metal from the staircases. We ran into multiple homeless people and scrappers as well as tweakers. That place is pretty dope, though. I love the view on the roof.

I was here a few weeks ago people are still scrapping it had power up unit about a year ago.
