Very much luck. The camera and tripod were set up for the following shot, but with a clear view of the moon, so pointed the camera up for the b-roll. At which point the plane appeared.

Was able to experience a Footplate Experience on Eddystone this month. Such a lovely engine and an experience I will remember for such a long time.

What's happened to the streamlining on Eddystone?
The air-smoothed casing was removed, along with other modifications, when the locomotive was rebuilt in 1958.
