Nice review and arrangement! I’ve had this pack for at least 10 years and it has held up excellent, has well thought out storage that will hold anything you will need on the river and then some. I wear mine as a chest pack and the waist strap keeps it stationary, I started using it as a sling bag but kept getting my line tangled in it. I keep a microfiber towel folded in the pocket that you said a belt could go through. The only obvious down point is it’s not water proof but if you’ll treat it once a year with scotch guard you’ll find it quickly dries when hung.
Nice video. Gave a lot of great ideas. What is the small bottle you insert on the outside of the bag? I’m a spin casting fisherman and want to rig bag for that. Would like to find small bottles like that to store hooks.
Thank you! It's a flip top prescription pill bottle. They sell them on amazon/ebay. It has dry fly powder in it and is used to dry water logged flies so that they float again. Fish on!
@@theminutiaeeffect3504 I thought that was what it looked like. I have some small bottles like that but they don’t fit. Hate to bug you with it but don have a link?
I like the Velcro on the fly box idea - thanks! I'm looking into the Fishpond offerings for lumbar and sling packs now as I might switch away from a using a fly vest. I hope it's not a tough switch after 45 years using a vest.

The grey fly box what size are they and what a great video
Thank you! The small version of the C&F fly boxes. CF-203, CF-1555, and FFS-1. The FFS-1 is great as it has interchangeable foam inserts.
