    This interviewer was great with extracting rich information from the interviewee, and he did it by having an actual conversation. I hate watching interviews where questions are constantly being thrown out, no real chemistry, and no authentic follow up questions. By the way, Danai is talented, beautiful, and intelligent.

    I knew that this would be one of the biggest movies of all time. Seriously! Not that I figured it out, or did some kind of algorithmic Google search or anything, I just felt it in my bones. I could then, and still do feel something is changing. African-American music, together with Jamaican Reggae music has changed the concept of popular music in the world; this movie is going to do a great deal to start a cinematic and visual change in future movies.

    She's amazing..its still said its 2018 and You can see the hidden racism in comments all over RUclips....its the reason a film like this has this kind of impact...the fact that it is still a factor is sad.
    Some people create beauty and growth others make god So sad..they can't even see the truth about themselves..and they dare speak on something they have no experience in or have no ancestry and continue to show lack of respect..but will look you in the face and say i have no issue with race...we can read inbetween the lines and see the truth in your heart. I pray for the younger generations

    • @MsGrace4ever
      @MsGrace4ever 6 лет назад +6

      Your statement: I don't see color… is a bunch of BULLSHIT!!! Of course you see color unless you are blind.
      There's absolutely nothing wrong with seeing color, the problem occurs when *seeing color* is used to discriminate, justify social inequality, disparity in treatment, injustice, unfairness, unequal treatment, segregation, institutional & systematic racism and to spread the negativity [& false idea] of racial superiority.
      The different colors (in skin tones) and culture is a BEAUTIFUL thing and meant to be embraced and acknowledged for its beauty and unique differences.
      There's no need to pretend that color doesn't exist because that's a lie.

    I think it's a great convo, but I really don't like how he interrupts her and 'checks' her with clarifying his questions and his very matter of fact attitude, comes off as disrespectful in that it's dis-generous to her as his guest, it's like an interrogation at times... that said, he did have some good questions.
