I will politely disagree. We have a class c and I try to cook outside even in cold weather because food smells stay inside so much. I would give up carting more stuff for a vent any day.

@@winebox a hood vent is important, but it doesn't need to take up all of that space. It's styled like it's in the show kitchen of a renovation on a TV show, instead of in an RV where space is critical.

Many homes have the hood built into the bottom of a cabinet and the vent pipe goes through the middle. This would help add more storage to this motorhome. And the look is not as important......

One thing they could really work on is making a larger outside storage compartment for chairs, folding table etc. In addition have a color coded stock trailer hitch trunk that looks like it was made for this one model only, It would be a great answer to storage.

Mrs and I like this RV as a potential replacement to our Winnie Solis 59PX. Hoping the Euro trend continues, I'd love to see a rear garage space for two mountain bikes and would gladly give up kitchen and bath space for this feature. Also, we think the bump out is ok, but we'd rather have something true Euro style, no bumpout. Keep up the vision !

Finally someone is catching up and getting why the european market is light years ahead , Its been a long time coming. We need to build motorhomes that have style and function and have the quality to back it up.
Lets be real people want there moneys worth when investing there lifes savings on a home on wheels. As a tour manager for rock bands i have travelled on almost every brand of motor homes and tour buses over the last 30 years. i was appalled how the quality of the product that was used hinges, brackets, wood joinery etc. I remember the first time i walked into a Country coach and was so blown away how beautiful the attention to detail was. Manufactures did not see the Sprinter custom van market potential and now its booming and now everyone even Tiffin who is great is taking notice. My 2 cents worth.

Also the shades that look to be almost like blinds (am I seeing things)? The interior doesn’t look very European to me. I do like the stove hood idea but the one you have just seemed so outdated. The materials may have a euro style etc but that is the 5%. Other than that it still screams american. Good sized Class A. I agree a diesel could be beneficial. The stove exhaust looks nice but there is wasted storage space around; function over design is better in my estimation. Really beautiful motor home. I’d customize it for myself a bit (1) remove the two extra seats under the TV and install a desk /work table with storage drawers beneath (2) drop down to a full size bed and add a large built in closet with cabinets in the bedroom (3) reconfigure the bathroom so the sink doesn’t block the shower. Not sure if this model has a garage, but would be interested to see the exterior storage. Otherwise, I really like it.

Make the folding bed a recliner bed when the slide is in. Makes it usable for brief stays or adds an extra reading area. This is the first class A I've seen that I'd actually want to own. Really reminds me of the was the Leisure Unity made a complete transformation of the class B+/C segment. This feels bigger than it is, and the multifunction front space is great. Unfortunately, I'm sure it'll be way outside my price range, but if it wasn't, I'd consider it for full time living.
If I could change one thing, I'd add washer/dryer prep, and maybe see if you could squeeze a workstation area somewhere. I really liked the design of the Lance 2465 with the owner's suite, but in this case the bathroom takes up part of the owner's suite so I'm not sure that could be done here without stretching the chassis.

As a UK Class A motorhomer - This is something that I would like to see in US Hire fleets to tempt more Europeans who are nervous of your big rigs to take road trip vacations in The US. I also agree with the comments below that European style "Garage" underbed storage accessible from the outside would be more practical than the slide out. Personally I don't like the transverse strip lights, they look more at home in an office. keep the zoning panels but starlight LEDS would be the dog's doodahs.

If you could design this with configurations that allow end user mods it could be an interesting way to go… example: many of us watch Tv on our iPads, just need mounts (let customers configure the tv or drop it). Love the walk around bed but hate the slide out. Can you create a twin bed layout or Murphy bed and leave out the slide? Look at what Leisure Travel has done in their B+ designs - very innovative.

I have a 1991 Itasca Windcruiser. The exterior of this Coachmen looks like an evaluation of my RV. The interior, however, is a complete departure from most Class A US interior designs. I am not a fan of the twisty locks on the exterior. Thanks for another great video!

Coachmen needs to use a revised Freightliner MC Custom Chassis with the Cummins front end diesel, shorter and lighter frame, independent front suspension, all disc brakes with VRide, digital dash etc.
That is what the do in Europe folks, not gasoline.

    • @brianb-p6586

That wouldn't be an MC... but sure, Coachmen could try to make a deal with Freightliner to build that... but why not just get them to build a light XC pusher chassis instead?

Finally a US made RV that looks classy. I love the European RV's they are sleek and modern looking. This one I could spend some time in. I like the size too and driving it would be easy. I have pulled large horse trailers so I am not afraid of large rigs but I would much prefer one this size that can go almost anywhere. The only thing I don't like is the bed. I would want a tilt top model and NO slide. Or even a twin bed set up. Every thing else Good job Coachmen

Thanks for this look at the Euro. Heading in the right direction Coachmen. Please put a diesel in it, this platform can accept one. No countertop LED rope lightning needed, ditch that. Thanks for the the flat/euro cabinets and no outdated valances or grandma cabinets with dozens of handles, carved wood and gaudy wall sconces/light fixtures. Please don't cheap out on the materials and furniture. The rims are OK, give us some options. Reconfigure that doggie window, round the corners or ditch it. Add adjustable shelves to the wardrobe so people have options. Shower hot and cold faucets stick out too far. Nice work so far. Congratulations to the team that developed the Euro.

Diesel ⛽ would probably be a disadvantage in this case. You lose payload and what you make up in fuel economy you lose it at the pump ⛽ with high diesel prices. You really don't gain anything with diesel in this RV...😊

Personally I like this - I'm not looking at class A's but this wouldn't be bad. I wish it had a diesel option (for reliability/economy and the general ease a diesel has with towing/hauling) and the range hood may look cool but it's a waste of potential storage space. Even keeping the hood and wrapping a cabinet around it would be an improvement.

looks a LOT like the Monaco Vesta from 2012, which was a front-engine diesel. The Vesta was such a cool coach, but a love/hate front end. I'd like to see this coach in a diesel. I'd bring the over-cab space down and put storage up there--also makes the drive cozier/quieter with a lower ceiling. The strip LED"s look neat--but I'd be curious what replacement would entail. Do they dim? Change color?

It's nice BUT NO DIESEL?? i would NEVER EVER EVER Buy a gasoline RV over a diesel. Same for fullsize trucks. Hell i wish most our cars were diesel or we had the option to have diesel over gas in every new car. I seriously don't understand why someone would get gasoline, where you're engine is at the end of its life by 200k but a diesel can go EASILY over a million miles. PLUS the resale on diesel is fantastic, they hold their value

  • @josephnason8770

To call this rv European is a mistake. Instead build a huge storage compartment in the rear accessable from both rear sides. Have two beds over this compartment, one on each side of the rv. Have a couple of steps up to the beds and in between them, thereby making the huge storage compartment possible. This eliminates the extra b..s weight and complexity of a slideout. Study the design of European rv's before you go calling your design Euoropean. It is not.

Love this rig. Finally, some Euro style and shape but with American comforts. One suggestion. Swap the placement of the couch and theater seats. Put seats with the footrest extension on the passenger side so we can kick back and watch TV. TV is decent spot so even the co-pilot can watch. Otherwise move the TV to the opposite side.

One view of the outside, two overhead cabinets, skipped one large cabinet because the door opened the wrong way, panoramic of the bedroom, nothing inside the cabin (dash and controls), etc
    Sorry 👎 on this one.

The range hood is nice, but I would prefer more storage with a vent on the underside. Are the individual chairs recliners? Nice counter space. What’s the benefit of having a masterating toilet?

    • @brianb-p6586
      @brianb-p6586 Год назад +1

The macerating toilet is probably used because the black tank is not directly under the toilet, so they need to pump the waste to the tank location. That's just an educated guess.

The pantry should have a pull out. The tv above the best seating? That is where I would like to sit, not on the sofa. But you can’t see the tv in the best seats. Should have an option in the bedroom for king, queen or twin beds. And I agree about the kitchen vent hood. Storage is so valuable and bending to get a hot casserole dish out of the low microwave is not safe. Think about us older rvers please.
