The seats inside need to be switched to opposite sides. If these have footrests or reclining then you’re facing the direction of the TV. It would be fantastic without a slide (always disliked slides) and 2 double beds in the back, Somehow like the axis 24.1/ finally these coaches are looking modern and not 1980’s… good job coachman almost a perfect couples full time RV worth buying.

Highly agree on the no slides with twin beds in the back. People nowadays have a strong emphasis on durability and simplicity of design.

I think its a waste of space and resources to have one slide being utilized just for a bed where you will spend the least amount of time in the RV. I know some people think they just have to have a separate large bed or they will die and they can spend their money however they want but others would prefer more roomy living space for family and friends. They only reason I would bother to state this is I over the top love the outside design, many of the features and overall size very much but that tight living areal is a deal kill for me.

This is my first comment although I’ve watched the show forever and am a customer of Liquify! This RV BLEW ME AWAY to the point I had to comment. So many things to lovely, but to name a few: the windows are AMAZING! Not only modern, but practical! Style points are 11 out of 10! I agree with Andrea about the dishwasher’s location. Maybe remove the 2 chairs under the TV and extend the kitchen counter with counter-height cabinets until a full height pantry meeting the driver chair? Install the dishwasher in the new counter space. In addition, have the remaining counter space include a televator (preferably manual) with open chair space below the televator area to double as a desk space (TV used as both monitor and TV). This set up would provide a great viewing experience from the couch and passenger chair while also providing a workspace. Just thinking how I’d personally like to use it. I’m not one to think about hosting as much as using it day-to-day. I’m so excited to see how this model evolves over time!

i am so glad that you are doing a Video on this Motorhome. As a Tour manager for Rock bands i have been on some if not every motorhome/ Rv manufacturer in the US including Prevost luxury tour buses. i have always said when will the US market catch up to the european market . First off for the quality of the build and its attention to utilizing space with functionality. I think finally we are getting it on all sizes of Motorhomes. Lets be real people want there moneys worth when walking off the lot and investing there lifes savings in a home on wheels. my personal opinion the days of country Bumpkin designs are old school. I still see some manufactures build motorhomes that look amazing on the outside and when you get on the inside you scratch your head! I feel the future is open for so many companies to take this trend attention to detail and run with it. Thats why the custom sprinter van market has blown up and most of the manufacturers did not see it coming . Winnebago was smart they saw the curve about to change and made the Revel and im sure they are not looking back. My two cents worth. You guys are doing a great Job. happy new year. Ps i agree andrea the windows look great more people should look at this.

Yes the seats should be switched as others have said.
    How available is that windshield?
I’d rather have a washer dryer than a dishwasher.
Also test drives need to be done with a full load on a highway to really get the feel of it, handling, including wind noise, that’s a new design I wonder how it handles wind noise and resistance.
A completely new modle design will have to prove itself.
Love the look and layout, HOME RUN!😊

Finally a size and shape I would try..so much more than a C or B plus or Vegas or the old 27 foot a class..it finally has windows and blinds and enough space everywhere..the fold is little further than where your behind will be on bed and lots of clothes places and cabinets...I want 50 amp and 2 ac so bad..even 2 people just heat the space up more and running the dirty dishes and place to put them and nicer size fridge...and you can take a friend and have great separate bed are and easy bathroom places AND THE BIG VENT IS GREAT. No motorhome has it all except the 45 footers and many of us want this size that many more campgrounds will take...one on coast only takes 25 foot or more...but also not the uber tiny for your driveway..yet this could fit some tailgate places ....love the water capacity and windows sure they could add whatever to make it even smoother riding that people do. And someone riding with you the way that is set up..kids or a friend...they are more with you..not behind you but at an angle...just terrific things AND NOT IN the $300,000 and up category..maybe many of us want bougey camp and see national parks and some closer to city and more suburban areas this way and then spend some nights in city center at the fancy hotels...LOVE this.

This looks like a great coach. I'd make a few changes though. 1) Diesel engine. 2) Exchange fake recliners for 2 chairs and a pullout table, which sits sideways.3) Make it 2 feet longer (still NP compliant!) which gives room for Twin beds and a full wall wardrobe. This would get rid of the slide out, and give you a space on the outside to enclose the water hookups/wetbay. Under the 2nd twin you would have a big bay for more interior storage. 4) No dishwasher...sorry, but I would rather have a pantry. A lot of promise though.....

  • @terrysandiego

Much more attractive than the "American" versions of the F53 chassis. Where is the rear exit window? Carry capacity is too low. The dishwasher situation is awkward and likely would be where I store the dishes rather than wash them. Tow capability? I would remove the "chairs" in the living room and replace with a long counter-type table, but I would be traveling solo.

Make the tall thin closet next to the fridge into a pantry! Terrible bathroom...needs more storage; skip the fancy mirror and give large mirrored medicine cabinet. Agree about too many connections on exterior!

I like it would like to see Queen bed converted to 2 twins, and Mirco in upper cabinets. Otherwise it close to my Vegas 24.1. The jackknife couch should be at least 6 foot, you could remove the 2 passenger chairs for another jackknife couch, and move TV to a flip down up in cab. Other issues I would have would be engine access for service and pre trip insp & house battery location. Sure hope the house battery isn’t like my Vegas, the most stupidest thing they have ever done. ? Is there a solar and Lithium battery add on ? This unit like all the other have crammed a lot of stuff in this unit; I bet it’s a RV Tech’s nightmare; I would also add my price to pay would be 100k; that’s my Two Sense worth 😊😊

Coachmen did a phenomenal job with the paint scheme and graphics. No crazy psychedelic “swooshes”. The front and rear caps of the motorhome look amazing. Improvement to compartment doors was a nice change. The chrome wheels look great!
Some opportunities for engineering at Coachman: 1) Engineering needs to work a little harder figuring out how to route the water hookups. The water hookups, as I mentioned in a prior video, break up the beautiful side profile of the motorhome. There must be a way to run the pex pipe to a different location. Run the pex pipe underneath the motorhome. Wrap with insulation and use a metal shield to cover pex pipe. Or, relocate the water hookups toward the rear compartment. Or, hide the water hook ups in the outdoor shower compartment. 2) The wardrobe storage above the dishwasher is a perfect spot for a washer\dryer. This area should be a “multi purpose area”. Prep this area for a washer/dryer and closet. Give folks flexibility. 3) Nice work in upgrading the compartment doors. So, how do the slam latch doors stay open when opened?
With a history that spans almost 60 years, it’s about time for Coachman to start thinking about its own motorhome emblem. Hold a contest in various graphic design communities. Within days, you will have dozens of emblem prototypes. I think it’s time for Coachman branding to evolve a bit from the dalmatian and oversized “COACHMAN” letters. Options: 1) Retire the dalmatian. The dalmatians are tired of running alongside coaches 2) Incorporate the dalmatian into an emblem. Dodge Ram truck emblem has a ram’s head. Ford Mustang has a horse. Jaguar motors has a jaguar. Lamborghini has a raging bull. You get the point😊
Coachman should start thinking about a “Coachman Euro XL” model: European design with American amenities. A tad longer, taller, 22.5 inch tires, etc. This will give Coachman an opportunity to amp up the storage space. Remember, we like storage and we like more amenities😊
Ford provides stripped chassis’ at various Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR). The higher the GVWR, the more flexibility a manufacturer has to build a bigger motorhome with more cargo carrying capacity.

The Coach Euro is a 16,000lbs GVWR chassis. It has a Cargo Carrying Capacity of 1900lbs plus…empty.
For your reference, here is the Ford F53 chassis availability range:
    16,000lbs (lowest in F53), 18,000lbs, 20,500lbs, 22,000lbs, 24,000lbs, 26,000lbs
Otherwise, nice work Coachman. Keep up the great work!

  • @garymunson2493
    @garymunson2493 8 месяцев назад +2

The deal breaker for me is using an F-53 chassis on a smaller motorhome. Class Cs ride nice because they have independent front suspensions. If you look at a REAL European motorhome, you will see they ALL do, too. The F-53 chassis is only suited for large, heavy motorhomes where the big, iron front straight axle doesn't affect the sprung/unsprung weight ratio enough to make the "kinda bumpy" ride Matt mentions in this review. In the past Workhorse knew this and their smaller P30 motorhome chassis also had independent front suspension for a much better ride. The short little old-school 70's Winnebagos rode horrible because of the front straight axle under their short, light chassis.

I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I love when you do the tv shows. I must say the people who drive and park all those rvs at the shows are amazing.
Thanks for all your hard work Matt, Andrea, Wil and Jen AND last but not least Yuna & Tucker (I hope I spelled everyone’s names correctly. 😂

Does coachman have an option for liquid springs on this rv? That is the most important issue.

I really don't like the European design. I'm not even gonna watch the whole video I tried but I can't.
It's all american for me. I love the designs. I bought European furniture and I loved it at first now. I just hate it. I hate looking at it. I hate how it was built. I hate how cheap it is really is probably gonna last maybe ten fifteen years. But I love you guys. You're the best sales people for R VS in America at top of it. You supply us with humor and love.❤🎉
P s i'm really sorry for not liking it

Brilliant concept except Coachmen have adopted the poorest design of European motorhomes - no slide in the living area. It is the smaller motorhomes that actually need the larger living space. European manufacturers don't seem to understand this. Its only the larger motorhomes that have the extended space available and sadly Coachmen have made the same mistake. This would be a fantastic vehicle if there was a living area slide. Please consider it Coachmen 🙏🏼

It has a very nice feel about it. You can tell they didn't skimp on it. The blinds on the back (having two separate blinds instead of one bigger blind) shows they put a lot of thought into it. Probably one of the best class C/Baby A's I've seen on your channel.

I really like watching the reviews that is put out and reading everyone’s comments so here’s mine. This is a financial nightmare! You buy it with or without a rv inspection this thing is going to be in the shop for a good bit. Maybe it should be put out on the road and have some serious miles and use put on it before they market it to the rv’ing public. Think about it before you put hard earned money on this.

Awesome rig. 3 things I like.1) modern style n ease of operation. 2) I do like the hookups and fill ups on the outside, no door to get at them , I just like them .3 ) Price.. everyone can get a better deal ,nobody pays tag , I've been a dealer for 30 years just retired, so the dealership has to make profit and thats what keeps them in business to keep giving you good service. Dislikes 1) the same thing that I complain about every small class a "The stupid gasoline engines!!!! A few dollars more will get you a nice large 4-cylinder diesel I.E Mercedes or the older style Isuzus ect. Not these archaic 6 mpg set ups,Diesel could stretch it out to 18 - 21. 2) the interior is light and refreshing but those white countertops , what about something that men would enjoy like a darker gray or a nice butcher block, save on weight too 3) switch the couch around with the recliners. Everybody's talking about seat belts safety, but it's really nonsense, nobody wants to be tied into a seat the entire trip, if somebody has to get up and use the bathroom or walk around then the seatbelt is off, all those years without them we did just fine. Also you hit hard enough ,belts wont help you going sideways. My future motorhome I'm cutting the rear seat belts with a knife..lol.. Matt you are wonderful and honest with your work and the people you reach out to,you do a great service to those in the market that are about to spend mucho $$ and dont know a lot, you tell it like it is, there should be more people like you in the sales world,, or just the world period !!

Oof, I HATE fuel fills in the rear, especially when it's a gasoline vehicle. If you pull into a rest stop, they are only one pump deep, so you have to pull VERY far forward in order to get past the pump. Sometimes, you literally can't pull up enough when there is parking right in front of the pumps for the convenience store.
Meanwhile, a truck stop pump is going to be diesel only. This was all very annoying when I was driving a 32' RV with a 19' trailer, and it had the gasoline fuel fill cap in the rear (not even centered enough to USE the left side of the pump, which was the whole idea of them putting it back there in the first place!!)

    • @onthegowithgreggsavage
      @onthegowithgreggsavage 8 месяцев назад

Just sticking a gasoline engine on these larger vehicles is ridiculous, there's plenty of diesels that they can fit in there that can stretch it out to 18 to 22 mpg versus 5 to 7 mpg.. I would pay the extra$$ and then put the proper fuel where it needs to be on the side

@@onthegowithgreggsavage totally agree for our use case it wouldn't work, I don't see this going up and down the 5-10% grades in the Rockies, I've done that with a gas before and never again. Nice motorhome for those that want to go to the state parks, and weekend, but I just don't see this being a serious full timers RV. I'll stick with my F350 dually and Imagine 2800BH for now.

Cool outside design, other than that, the hard deal breakers for me are the following. Unusable to no outside storage, it only can sleep 2 adults and one child, low CCC at 1900lbs. and the price seems high for everything it lacks.. The only potential buyer I can see for this is a Class B+ jumper, I just don't see it ????

Fresh looking motor home under 30 ft. Nice exterior paint scheme (even though this is a direct copycat of Europe’s Concorde), excellent interior design and touches. Gorgeous curved cabinets.
I got confused when Matt said it drove “bumpy” but then later praised how it drives at the end.
Top of windshield is much higher and better than the earlier prototype. The huge range exhaust fan seems like it may be a waste of space.
Not sure if $219,000 sticker, $160,000 sell price will work, (which is some $60,000 above Coachmen’s similar 27XPS) but hats off to Coachmen for trying the kill the 50 year-old box styling.
