I was a gaffer on this production. What a headache this became. Took us almost 3 months to get it right. He wore that outfit like 2 weeks at 6 hours a day and never washed it lol. We ended up making about a dozen productions from kiosk training to holiday sales promos. Even the stupid smash bros event in the parking lot that ended up being lost media
Loved Josh as a kid. Loved his dkc video too. This brings me back sooo mich nastolgia it's not even funny. He was so hype and a great person to donthese kinds of things.
I remember thinking "why is he constantly pushing these 3 games so desperately hard?" Wasn't there something about how someone high up at Nintendo was a stockholder of SGI computers?
Yep, lol, they said the same thing a year before the launch of the SNES too, they wanted to squeeze every last drop of blood from their existing userbase.
I love Nintendo, and especially in the Super NES era. I would say 1994 overall is the best year, but this is still so great. This guy's energy is fantastic. And Diddy's Kong-Quest is incredible.
I haven't watched the 1994 demo video one yet, I just meant that 1994 as a year was great overall for Nintendo. I see there is a demo video for 1994, so I'll watch that next: ruclips.net/video/AIVN81aOlko/видео.html
I really wish they still did this in stores today. It’s super hard to find any snes game that was specifically used just for demonstrating in these kiosks in any game store. If only there were any floating around somewhere in Canada…
Never had a SNES when I was a kid (my family had both a NES and my Sega Genesis), though a couple of my friends and cousins had Super Nintendo's. Also Virtual Boy sucked, my dad and I played it once at a Nintendo demo station at a trade show and both of us had the worst headache and neck cramp afterwards.

Why do they keep doing this over and over again? Is the same BS every time
so wait, Josh did actually work more than 2 days? Did he get paid for both?
12:06 "No one needs a new system..." Until, ya know, we bring out our new system

Backwards-ballcap and plaid shirt: This host is practically wearing a 90s twenty-something uniform.
And a mullet
@@mattjohnson8090 Mullets were more 80s if you had to define a decade
A lot of people still dress like this lol
This is how kids dress now.
Fashion goes in circles
@@mattjohnson8090
It's not a mullet lol
He has long hair slicked back and tucked under his hat, the rest just juts out the back.
great actor, all those nice things he said about Virtual Boy
He should be ashamed of himself, pushing that virtual boy so hard.
Josh in this video is Josh Wolf who is an actor, writer, and comedian. He was on Chelsea Lately and even had his own show on CMT.
Its Eminem
Cool beans.
Yikes...glancing through his channel content it seems like a lot of "Jackass" caliber lowest-brow comedy...not my cup of tea.
I was losing it sitting here going “no way” I thought it was him
Mariners Fan is the volume guy on the interactive displays video!
That Virtual Boy vest is FIRE.
So 90's,So Fun!
How was this guy not cast all OVER Hollywood!?!??! He's such a GREAT actor, he should be on Friends!!!!
I agree
Nowadays might be special but at 90s "it was Tuesday"
@@gizaha um. he was being overtly sarcastic...
@@ianswift3521 I got it wrong then, sorry.
thats Josh Wolf when he was younger before he did any comedy or acting
The thing is, that filming set would probably be the most expensive gaming room in existance today. Wouldve been a dream to walk through one now :')
I swear more effort went into this video in 1995 than most shows in the last 5 years.
i would say the films in the last five years have been good like home alone, Aladdin and even the mask.
I miss the '90s...
Content like this is an absolute aesthetic gem of it's time. PRESERVE IT AT ALL COSTS!
Just appreciate the nostalgia.

Reccomending DKC2 for an 8 year old is boarderline child abuse lol

The Interactive Display Guy still there! He is the guy excited about the Virtual Boy.
he likes the volume REALLY LOUD
Wow! Never realized Virtual Boy was introduced that early. I thought it came out in '97.
No, it was discontinued for almost a year by then
22:08 hey, isn't that Jake who likes the volume REALLY HIGH
...and he´s here to buy a gift for his brotha.
Justo en la nostalgia, en esa época es cuando más jugaba con mi snes.

this part was so unnecessarily intense

It truly does look like Nintendo Heaven to me! Thanks for the tour, Pauly Shore's brother (I assume)
25:50 My favorite part of the video. XD
AH yes I was wondering about the Virtual boy. Seems it was still fresh but you already see they losing faith.
VB looked like a mistake at the time. A red monochrome screen, what were they thinking?
@@stuvo1977 I played it at a local store during its release and didn't find much appeal on account of the games not looking better than SNES games.
It’s Better Than Bowlero and Dave and Busters in 2023!!! Thanks for uploading it.
the virtual boy was so ahead of its time,i loved it so much especially warioland 3d but as usual the people didnt know what cool was

This has big “Hello, fellow kids” energy.
im ok with that
Somehow, this guy's personality fits more to the sega brand from back in the day
Les rayons de jeux à l’époque, c’était quelque chose
Fun fact: “Josh” is the same guy who starred in the videos for DKC and Yoshi’s Island. In both videos, he was never actually named.
The Gamer with No Name [cue chiptune version of GBU theme]
In my opinion, 1995 was Nintendo's best retro year ever!
I need to know where this guy is today.
He is a fairly successful standup comedian named josh wolf
@@Firegoesboom Thank you!

1995 was the last year Nintendo could claim, without irony, they are the best.
This is like a piece of history
Don't you dare destroy anything. I'd keep all that stuff left over especially the kiosk
Whoa they are using Killer Cuts which was that bonus cd with remixed versions of arcade KI’s soundtrack.
I want whatever that guy is on lol

I thought Super Mario Land 2 was 6 Golden Coins and Super Mario World 2 was Yoshi's Island.
(different interpretation: "Super Mario Land 2---Yoshi's Island" (or two separate games being mentioned))
Amazing
Did they really forget about Kirby s dream land 2
This was before Joy locked him in that truck and he got smothered by his Murphy bed.
This is Nintendo's "family friendly" version of Paulie Shore...
Wonder if Josh is still slaving away at Nintendo America
He's a stand up comedian nowadays. Josh wolf
2 weeks after this was made, PS came and killed everything in this video stone dead.
