Maybe canon eos DSLRs may fit your budget. They ranged from 300-700 usd max. Most of them are used camera. Well, then, buy used cameras. But make sure it's still in good condition and still have good amount of shutter life.
I’ve heard you can get a used Sony camera for around that price there are a couple you cold research one I heard is the Sony zv e10

If you are on a studio, doing live stream and etc it's ok to use a cheap camera. if you have to deal with changing ligth, multiple faces and long time recording, you start to apreciate many of those features.
To be honest, inside home I use a Gopro or even my phone.

I would always recommend buying used for your first camera, just be sure to get it from a reputable store like mpb or keh.

As an M50 user, I honestly dont feel I need to upgrade any time soon. Im more of a photographer than videographer but Im slowly getting into videos lately. If and when I do upgrade though, I'd love an R50 with weather sealing. Love that smaller form factor.

I shoot with the M50. Shot a wedding two days ago. My single biggest complaint is not being able to monitor audio levels on screen while you shoot.

@@FulaanCreative They may have discontinued the M mount but I have EF lenses anyways. I have a viltrox mount adapter and a viltrox speed booster. They seem to get the job done.
I just have to comment to say that this video helped me quite a bit. I want to spend more, but in reality I don't need to and won't. The R50 will allow me to learn my skills, Perhaps in a couple years I can step up to full frame once I know what I am doing. Thanks for the great video!

True, but if you save up then it can be within the budget
It is when it comes to getting professional grade footage. Below 1000$, you get what you pay for. Unless you find some incredible bargain.

What’s your opinion on the Canon 90D for a beginner?
If you get a good deal on a used one it's not bad.
I've been watching your videos night and day. I got a second hand M6, I love the camera, the aesthetics, the functionality, the quality. But, unfortunately, the M50, which I consider n inferior camera, is way more popular, hence the lack of videos about the M6.
So I watch all your material about the M50 and adapt it to my camera. ;)
The R50 looks amazing, but I already own 2 R6, so , until Canon comes up with a RF camera with the M6 form factor, I'll keep it.
The only thing that doesn't make the M6 a perfect camera, is the lack of the articulated screen. I'd guess that's the reason of the over popularity of the M50 (and price, of course)

lol i love how under 1000 is a budget camera but i get it photography is expensive and i wanna get into it as a hobby as an impatient 16 year old its hard to wait but i know its gonna be worth all the work im putting in towards the money to get myself a canon m50 mark II also your videos have been helping learn a lot in terms of photography and cameras in general i love the work you put into your videos it really does help me out a lot :)))

Hey man, I wouldn't save up all that money for an M50. The camera itself is great, but they discontinued the EF-M mount system and continue to discontinue their lenses. I'd go for the R50 instead. That way, you can buy lenses and then use them on a new camera you buy in the future.

I would much rather buy the Lumix G95 than the a6400. Cheaper and has buttery smooth IBIS. It's even weather sealed. Plus it's Lumix... Shadows are unreal.

Yes the ZVE10 could easily do that. Download Davinci resolve. It's the best editor and it's free.

Subscription earned. 👊 great information on the budget range of cameras, and amazing high quality content. Your work is great dude. I appreciate all the effort you put into it. I have owned the ZVE-10 and its a little beast of a camera. Paired with the 35mm f1.8 OSS lens it could get some really cool b-roll. As a podcast camera it did great. No overheating issues after almost 2 hours. Had to sell it but now looking at something else again. Used A6400, maybe a R50, or go into the Fujifilm system. Fuji lenses seems much more affordable than all the others. Lets see where I end up after a 1000 RUclips videos 🤣

I just recently found your channel and i also use a Canon M50 for my videos and film making. I was thinking about switching to R50 but i decided not to. Even though its a lot better than M50, i ended up making sort of a cinema rig with my M50 and will try to make cinematic look in my movies (with cynestyle) included ofc. They are not the best for that due to rolling shutter and lack of IBIS. Between the two I would go for the ZVE-10 if that was my main usage.

For sure. It's all about the skills and creativity.
ZVE10 has gyroscopic stabilisation which is way way better than canons Digital stabilisation. Its not warp stabilisation, its almost gimbal like and we can decide how much to crop
True but personally I'm not a fan of cranking up the shutter speed to 1/200 or whatever is needed to get catalyst browse to work properly. I like to stay within 180 degree shutter angle.
