    My father is a retired Assam rifles personal settled in Nepal. What lt Gen Shokin says in his interview is 100% right .He is 96 years old and he still remember the republic day and independence day of India where he insists on wearing uniform and medal on those days and trying standing and salute while the national anthem is played. His love for india is very deep.Thanks to share the interview. Government of India has to review their outlook and dealt the issue of Nepal in more practical way..

    You(Indians) can't deny that Kalapani, Lipulekh and limpiyadhura is part of Nepal. We are not asking our Darjeeling, Sikkim and Utarakhand yet.

      I'm from Uttarakhand. Your ministers will have to fall at our feet and beg us but we're still not Nepali. It makes no sense. You can live in your fantasies but asking for them to become a reality is a bit much don't you think? And why this sudden aggression from your politicians after the China switch? Why not this push earlier? Why only after China started to print Nepalese currency? Communists are nobody's friends, especially Hindus and Buddhists. You can look at what they did to Kerala. They'll do that to you too. Be independent, be free, but don't willingly subjugate yourself to Commies.

    The failure of Indian intellectuals is that despite the fact that they claim to have spent time in Nepal and know about Nepal fail to really outline the legitimacy in their gerivences this might be due to two reasons, one that they need to sell their books to Indians and to do that they have to scrutinise the nepal socio-political aspect and stay away from the core of the grievances, or they really don't care and don't care about why their foreign policy which has not changed since their inception hits right in the homes of every nepali people.
    It starts with trade in foods stuffs where there has been issues of dumping, using phytosanitary measures as issues and lay the food to rot, but when inflation rises in India then they create demand in production for a while until the door shuts again and I need not say more the stort and long term impacts for the same, nepal cannot create protective measures out of fear of inflation in the short term and them long term issues with the neighbours if solutions are worked on need not say the number of times nepal was blockaded.
    P.S. this issue on foodstuffs can be extended to other tradable goods and services,
    It moves to political interference, forget the blockades specially when a sovereign country created its constitution the ally sends an ultimatum of demands after which a blocked insues by an ally after the rejection of an imperial demand forgetting the historical uncolonized pride of the nation which flows through every nepali vain, but the reflection of creating a vasel state for various kind activities to influence the neighbouring states themselves so their political victory is intrusted. Sometimes propping maoist to carry out insurgency later trying to reinstate monarcy and Hinduism, no consistency at all, wonder why.
    It moves to a developmental partner who claims that the newly made International Airport in Pokhara is first a security threat because of its proximity to major Indian cities and if defaults on its loans will fall in the hands of the chinese and on the other hand provide no flight routes which makes sure of the fact, secondly claiming(threatening) that mainland china is far from Nepal and therefore have no more option when they clearly know that distance is measured in time and with trans-himalayan railway will definitely sorted it and open routes to different trading partners and tradeable goods.
    It moves to a security partner, Neheru and Mao firstly agreed to their sphere of influence which later on didn't work out war insued Nepalese born fought to defend Indian territory Nepal provided stations to Indian Army to create a defense in the himalayas so the Chinese don't come on the southern side of himalayas, but what do nepalese get in return they play the china card, the treaty to send nepalese soldiers in the bin due to a domestic agneepath scheme one of the fronts in the himalayas claimed to open a so called "mansarovar path" when everyone knows of its strategic importance in a war situation but rather than create a good relation and find a resolution steal it with the whim of having a superior force.
    These all could be an opportunity to create a better relation, for the same a joint EPG committee was made to find an ambicable resolutions to issues but for years Indian PM declines to see it when Nepal says it will unilaterally publish it Indian media says, "nepal ki ye majal, modiji brahmos missile girado, aakh uthane lagi hai nepal, china ne racha naya khel", all nepalese know of these facts, the other new form of dismissal is, "this is only kathmandu" almost all nepali people reside in kathmandu.
    Now the question is do Indians really care until its too late for everyone of us, this is enough for a guy to write this as a rant.
    may ma Durga keep us all safe.

    • @floe61
      @floe61 13 дней назад

      Ma Durga won't last long with Commies at the helm I'm afraid. But overall I agree that our country can do better for our relations. I may disagree with some of your points, but I won't rebuttal them as I don't immediately recall any specific solutions that I can propose as an alternative.
      I would also like to add that our country's internal and external affairs are very complicated and we're constantly getting cornered by the same group of countries, and sometimes frustration may seep through and show up on the internet as rowdy, undisciplined and rude expressions. However, some of those concerns aren't wrong. Our people are just insecure, because we've seen every kind of problem your people will see if you follow certain trends that we followed. I'm not justifying the crude behavior of these people on the internet, nor am I calling it correct, but I'm telling you where it comes from.

    Nepal and India should create good relation. Only thrid country will benefit if our relation sour. Nepalis feel like India tries to dominate them, so India needs to be carful with their moves toward Nepal. Nepali need progress and India's support if important, and if the relation is of two good neighbors then ofcourse Nepal will respect the bond, and like always will never allow the third country to use its land against India. I am a Nepali myself, and have been to India and have special love for the country, like many of my fellow compatriots.

    If you don't recognise tibbet as china north east India is also not India.You should not fool yourself that common people don't know anything now information is accessible to everyone 😂😂😂

    • @Ahovalan94
      @Ahovalan94 7 месяцев назад

      Оккупация Тибета с востока произошла в 50 - х годах.
      С тех пор, примерно, Далайлама покинул свою резиденцию в г. Лхаса и обрёл убежище на территории Индии.
      Тибетцы долго вели партизанскую войну и в будущем, не так уж и далёком, по прохождении нынешнего мирового крисиса, Тибет востановит свою независимость, как ламаисткое государство.
      Ибо сейчас буддизм преследуется на территории Тибета по политическим причинам.
      Поэтому Китай форсирует (словесно, якобы) свою программу заброса китайских астронавтов на поверхность Луны.
      Реально это, может быть, будет полёт в один конец , для того , чтобы китаец, (человек) просто ступил на поверхность Луны.
      Вышел, так сказать, на короткую прогулку, например, в паре с подругой.
      Из экономии средств на такой рейс в одну сторону, в таком вояже будут учавствовать кое-кто из жителей китайского города карликов.
      Учитывая пониженное отношение китайцев к ценности жизни отдельного индивида, такой сценарий очень даже возможен к реализации.
      Есть ведическое пророчество, что буддизм , как религия, сойдёт на нет, когда "нога человека ступит на поверхность Луны ".
      Далее этого факта, в освоении Луны смысла и возможности нет.
      В конкретном случае Китай заинтересован территориально в исчезновении буддизма .

    Cutting Nepali Gurkha recruitment was probably one of the most braindead moves by this Government; beyond the geopolitical implications of ties w/ Nepal and its people - one of the Indian Army's biggest advantages over Chinese troops in a war is morale/fighting spirit, battle hardiness & quality of the troops, and acclimatization/familiarity of troops to the terrain & climate.
    All China has to do is open a chequebook and create a whole force of Gurkhas - and India will be in significant trouble.

    India and Nepal have lots of things in common and open borders for thousands of years. Now China and Nepal have common communist party Mao. Mao killed millions of Chinese-biggest killing of all time to establish one party system. This party killed thousands of innocent Nepalis to control during civil war.

    India and Nepal are not enemy country. But Indian government has acted like enemy with Nepal and Nepali people. Maoist revolution(?) was an example of this. India was first nation to declare them as 'terrorist'prior to Nepal government. But, later maoist leaders became their son in law.
    Many ungrateful things have done by Indian regime to Nepal.
    Hindu kingdom and Hindu rastra was removed by India.
    Kalapani,lipulekh and Limpiadhura are Nepali territories, fixed by Sugauli Treaty.
    It was King Mahendra who allowed defeated Indian army to stay there for the time being.
    Now Nepal government should close open border with India, should implement visa system and stopping recruitment of the son of soils to Indian army.
    But it seems like a dream until Nepal gets a patriotic government.

    Lies written in ink can never disguise facts written in blood.
    The Indian political mindset and psyche in regards to Nepal must change and by all means stop political meddling in Nepal. Nepal is a sovereign country and should not be treated as a vassal state. The Indians with the concurrence of the West played a catalytic role in bringing out the current situation in Nepal. If Nepal fails as a state, the Indians will have to pay dearly. The Chinese and Indians immediately need to have a common strategy in regards to Nepal. They should NOT allow the West to use India or China against each other. Hence the sooner Nepal becomes a true sovereign state the better it is for India and China.

    • @floe61
      @floe61 13 дней назад

      Nepal can't be a sovereign state for as long as Commies are at the helm. All commies of Asia report to only one master. India sadly has become a breeding ground for Commies and Marxists, which is where the ones in Nepal showed up from. Our own country destroyed a Hindu Rashtra. It's unfortunate. We have the Dharma chakra on our flag but we didn't do what was needed and when. Our government toppled the monarchy and left the country for the dogs. I can understand the frustration the educated Nepali may have against the Indian government.
