I am sorry this happened to you, however as someone who knows a fair amount of stuff about account systems and scams in general. I see no way your account got stolen other than doing something pretty stupid.
I want to clarify that the person that hacked me has locked down my account to where I can no longer use it, I just hope steam can help unlock it for me
