Control the surrounding inflammation with steroids and wet compresses. Obviously if there is infection, use antibiotics.
This as a perfect video only missing a live example of how to clean and dress. I have this issue and the doctors cleaned the area with soap and water, then iodine and used Extra virgin olive oil to moisturize the area and it came back to new!!
My son has this chronically we cant find anyone to tell us exactly how to heal he is at hosp right now due to bleeding they just say clean with salt water nothing else
