I think that there was a misdrop at 3:17 for the blue player. They could have clear the green puyos to buy time, but placed them into the wrong column.
I think that semi-understanding whats going on in the players head (either from a spectators or a players perspective) is probably the most important thing once you've reached this level of play
Heres actual advice. Make a 3Chain then build on. Make each extension as if thats where it started. If your versing a tetris, be prepared to be blockes immediately. Its ok to start a combo early and as long as its past 3 it'll hold them off to make an even bigger combo. Hope my advice helped!
This match reminded me of the maximum level computer player, especially Tetris. I had problems against the medium computer player, but the maximum...wow.
