I already had my Embergen licence from when it was still in Beta, but not really did anything with it (both lack of time and not really any tutorials for it).

In addition to smoke & fire, does this bootcamp show how to make any energy effects? I'm hoping to show a charge-up that fires a laser beam, but I'm curious if EmberGen is the right program for that.

That neon energy effect at 0:25 was done in EmberGen? I don't tend to see effects like that made in EmberGen!

Hey I was thinking about purchasing the course today. I noticed there's an option for a coupon code but I'm not seeing one anywhere
There are currently no active coupon codes for the course. The field to enter one is always there though.
