The pews would have GONE for more had they protected them. Honestly, NOT protecting them is so disrespectful to the craftsmen who spent all that time and love and labour making them in the first place.
I'm a bit frustrated about the roof getting so late on and what damage this has done. Also I strongly don't like their interior design. It looks so cold and lifeless..
At the beginning of each show your music is WAY to loud you can not hear the host talking at all. This is in all these restoration videos.Dont you listen and edit before airing. Turn the music down when people are talking.
My favorite restoration so far. Well done!

COMMUNITY!! THAT is just THE BEST!!!
Anybody know any updates on Phil + Joanne + this restored church?
I wonder what the outcome is for them. I dearly hope they got to keep it and live in it!!
I hope so too.
George just loves being right even if it's bad for the families who've worked so hard to achieve their dream
"Right" = Realistic
Not true,he has a lot of experience so he always tries to advice against the dangers he sees as a professional.
great house ! 😍
What is the beautiful violin music in the beginning of this episode???
I hope George is right Phil and Joanne are able to sell their existing home and live in this restoration cause they really do deserve it.
They could airbnb it for a while? I love the local community, they seemed very sweet and kind!
Sold for 355k in 2020. Looks like they held onto it until then. Lost money on it when you factor in the interest for 8 years...
Stinks they couldn't live in it after all that work
Another close call
Why didnt they clean up the pews a little bit before selling?
I was thinking the very same thing, even giving one day of their time to clean them up and polish them would've got a much better price for them .
They had no time, remember? It’s easy to criticize from here, but to live it is a whole different story
Antiques often lose their value if cleaned up or restored. It would've been wise to prevent weather damage. Shame . . .

I hope they rented out the house they couldn’t sell because of the equity issue and live in the church
George isn't very encouraging is he?
I kind of like that about him.

I felt the same way. Edit by a sound person is essential
Yes please ! go for a soundman before uploading !!!
You posted this about 6 months ago obviously there isn't anything new but come on find something

I think it's criminal that they should WASTE all that money and effort restoring the offal of a dead legend...what's the expression..??? Get a life...
What a odd idea to live in a church. Like am I the only one who finds that absolutely weird?
I'm restoring one now! Can't wait!
