I have never felt so emotional watching restoration video but had tears in my eyes for most of it, and cried openly in others. Peter and Nikki have taken this derelict mill and returned it to a structure of beauty again.
What a magnificent testimony and commemoration to the love of one couple, and a husband's strength in completing their dream restoration.
George Clarke did Nikki’s memory proud in this episode. He brought his sensitivity and compassion in telling the story of the project and the couple that had the courage to tackle it, while the construction teams worked hard to give Nikki some very fond memories before she passed.
R.I.P. Nikki. You are much loved.
I had no idea that I'd be crying today, but yep, that happened. What a gorgeous place though.
This is the best one ever done.....
Nikki and love in all the details. She is absolutely there in spirit, witnessing and blessing all of it!
Heartwarming and heartbreaking, like a real life Hallmark movie. 🥺 What a beautiful tribute. 🌹
Well done to the builders who gave it everything they had to try and make Pete and Nikki's dream come true before her passing.
A beautiful episode that left me misty eyed.
Having survived cancer twice, this episode hit me kinda hard....many tears....incredible restoration tho! One of the best I've seen on your program!
Julie Car Yes, really well done.
When deciding on watching this program I didn’t expect to cry the whole way through 😩
This is one of the saddest things I've ever watched. Also one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen.
All my love to that family.
I cried, but it is a wonderful restoration. I'm sure Nikki approves.
Stunning restoration. My deepest condolences over the passing of Nicky.
Absolutely beautiful build, and very unique....
Difficult and emotional 😢 feelings.
My wife has been fighting cancer since last year.
Don't give up.
Don't give in.
Fight every day.
Cherish everyday.
I'm in tears. What an amazing story and gorgeous restoration.
Love watching Restoration man! Love when he tells the history of these places. 👍👍😍😀🏠🌞📹🖥📱
My favorite restoration of the series. So sad that the lady of the mill couldn't see it...
what a sad episode...it shows me ones again, that a life is worth so much more, than anything else.
Love this programme
A beautiful story. Sad but beautiful. Jim.
Beautiful moments throughout this episode. Thank you for this!
Incredible restoration! Sad though that Nikki did not see it through.
Well that was lovely and heartbreaking at the same time . I honestly hope Pete and George stayed in contact after that seemed like george was really invested in the journey not vjust for TV
Beautiful home. And a lovely video.
Wzruszająca historia! Ale pięknie opisana 🌼
Beautiful lovely restoration. It was so sad at the end. I cried a lot and I truly hope that the husband is doing well.
Nicky’s MiIl ❤️
This absolutely broke my heart
This proofs how stress can effect a person being.
Missing these restoration shows
Does anyone know the wonderful classical music piece used in the intro?
I think it is a piece called A lark Ascending, very apt don't you think ❤️
can it spin?
So sad
😭
Did he just walk past the massive other hope restoration site in the star of this???
One small quibble: Don't Brits use the term, adaptive reuse? I wouldn't call turning a windpowered flour mill into a house a restoration
This is so sad.😢. Kick rocks cancer!!
I would like to buy these two cow patties and turn it back into a cow. geez
Not sure I would put the kitchen so far from the dining room
Why dont they just buy a used Katrina fema trailer
You do realize...these beautiful things...cause cancer.
Kris Frederick, hahahahahahaha! I’m sure I’ll be dead soon in that case. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
