The way Khanya treated everyone was terrible but she was an absolutely awful partner. Idgaf about not cooking, but you claim to be the table and you can’t even bring basic respect and love for your partner. She’s so mean. Her partner goes on to defend her after the show and says she’s never gotten like this, but I really don’t believe him. she was abusive as hell to him and i think he’s just defending her. the way he reacted it seemed normal as hell to him, not surprising by any means
I have NPD and have to fight the same problems as she does, she is actually totally insecure and hides behind the thought of being a prise wife.
Right! In one clip after she pours wine on him, says his shoes are cheap and tells him to leave her room he said she reacted how he expected her to. So he kmows exactly what shes like and still has a baby with her 😢

The difference, as I see it, is that at least you have agency with the former choice. And the latter one makes you look sad and desperate.
Not every relationship is meant to last or to be fixed. If your partner knows that you want marriage and they continue to string you along and use you as a free laundromat, free chef, free maid, free handyman, free mechanic or an ATM, you might as well ditch them. They don’t respect your desires and they never will.

I (an American black woman) dated the grandson of a South African billionaire for YEARS in my early to mid twenties while he was about ten years older than me. We argued constantly. I tried to leave him multiple times only for him to gaslight and harass me into coming back. Khanya's behavior reminds me of him so much. He thought that just because he came from money and would eventually inherit extreme wealth that he should be "the prize" despite him being ugly, self-centered, lazy and verbally abusive. He put his hands on me ONCE and I never looked back.

As an American with a south African parent, growing up with my oupa's (grandpa's) homemade biltong was one of the greatest things
There's a South African butcher in my town that does biltong and it's definitely in my top cured meats. It's so so good.

The Ultimatum really just went and took the worst part of the show Friends (aka Ross and Rachel's "We were on a break!" arc), combined it with one of the most unethical genres of TV....and then laid that ripe turd upon the entire online world's face. I'm South African and I loved it. It was such a glorious mess. Peak reality TV. I was worried we were going to be boring but they really showed out.

i think you were too easy on issac. ruth had legitimate concerns. she never met any of his family or friends and their relationship was very hidden. why would u believe someone who treats u like that will marry you? to me when issac pulled out the ring it felt very manipulative. obviously that doesn't mean ruth was perfect but at least she remained honest and open.
