He’s 100% right. Road Courses have now turned into demolition derbys. It’s not a good look for the drivers or the sport when you have drivers running over each other for positions. It’s stupid.
I'm sick of the road course tracks, I want to watch real stock car racing I can go to the county fairs to watch demolition derby's!.

Nascar you have got to remember that there can only be 1 winner, no matter how much you change things you'll never get it fixed so every car can win every race.

He said 110% of the truth! Honestly I feel like road courses now are less special/more annoying now. Road Courses are now just wreck everyone and hoping you get a lucky caution break. That’s what Road Course is now in NASCAR.

I like Ryan, he’s as frustrated as everyone is not able to pass. He’s tired of working all week, racing well all day only to get taken apart near the end. I wish Nascar would put in penalties for aggressive driving but now it’s okay to punt a driver under caution.

Spot on! The road races used to be my favorites. Now, the late cautions and subsequent restarts have ruined them. Ryan explained this perfectly. It seems drivers in 12th think they should be able to bring home a win. And hey, if they plow through enough cars, they might. NASCAR isn't supposed to be a demolition derby.
Been a Ryan Blaney fan since he first started racing. And can't wait for him to get his first championship.

This race was one example of why I think removing stage racing from certain events throughout the season and running green to checkered would benefit the series.
You would still have double file restarts after every caution. Better to do single file restarts at least on the road courses

Ryan is right. Funny thing is the dudes who are running nascar want the stupid stuff back in the pack. They want pandemonium because they aren’t racers. They’re businessmen who think crashes and craziness are going to make tiktok influencers Chad and Becky magically become nascar fans.
Yet they fail to relize that chad and Becky will never become real fans but people that just pay attention when a shit show is happening cause humans love to watch shitshows as long as its not themselves getting embarrassed. Meanwhile us real fans are just sitting here embarrassed, sad, and unheard cause nascar knows we'll be back to watch no matter what cause we love this sport just too damn much.

Non-race fans aren’t going to watch. That’s why all these ridiculous gimmicks are only useful for alienating true race fans.

Ryan is one of the best. Look how many races he has stayed in the top 5, and lead in the last couple of seasons. He is consistently fast and doest get near the coverage and credit as the little pets in Nascar. I've seen many races where he's in the lead and not even on the screen or being talked about. It's always the chosen ones. Screw that. Keep doing what you do, Ryan.

A lot of these guys need to learn how to race in general. It's frustrating to watch when so many guys aren't capable of going side-by-side.

Who puts a sign board on the race track where a car can hit it and knock it off? Everything about this Roval is just friggin' stupid! They should just do a figure 8 with all the pushing and crashing. I want to see high banks only and Charlotte is the best.
It is a cutoff race and there is bound to be carnage, which is fine, but the second to last restart was just straight up messy. It wasn’t aggressive driving it was literally just dumb moves and misjudgments.
Road courses suck.

At this point they should just take tony stewarts idea of running half the field backwards. Every weekend is a embarrassing shitshow yet half the fanbase is like hurr durr good race cause three quarters of the field is wrecked.
Road courses used to be a display of an uncommon skill in NASCAR. Nowadays they are just 3 boring hours of spaced out single file "racing" followed by a "mysterious" caution to bunch them all up for a "dramatic finish" with cars getting plowed, wrecked, or spun out all over the race track. That is EXACTLY why NASCAR chose the Roval for an elimination race.
There was a big sign on the track. No mysterious caution here.

I think anyone who has one a race and anyone who is in the top 10 in points should be able to win the championship race.
I flew all the way out from Arizona because the first 4 races were fantastic. Only to end up with the absolute worst race of the season. Boring first 90% of the race, part failures galore and terrible racing at the end of it all.

All the drivers in the field want to finish as good as they can .......Im sick of playoff drivers thinking the non playoff drivers should get out of the way . Ryan said it wasn't the playoff drivers doing the wrecking ........thats because the playoff drivers had everything to lose !!! Naturally the rest of the field is gonna be more aggressive. Back in the day the drivers would go drink a cold beer and shrug it off as hard racing !!!! Days of Thunder .....rubbing is racing . Nowhere for cars to go on a restart .....one driver makes an aggressive move and it chain reactions to the others around them ......not enough real estate caused the spins .
When you have playoffs and you let everyone else race with the playoff drivers and potentially screw them up, it creates a problem
Indy and Charlotte are hybrid "rovals" and he specifically mentioned these, not true road courses. I am not trying speak for him but he also mentioned the main drawback to these two in one tracks is the inclusion of the super speedway long straights and sweeping corners down to narrow low speed corners. Four wide into tight corners and chicanes only makes enemies.

See how many cars are junked after today at Indy almost a dozen cars were too bent up and twisted and went to scrap. How is that saving teams money with bolt on clips.
They can't complain about how dangerous the new cars are, and then drive those cars over-aggressively.

It happens pretty much at every NASCAR race never mind just the road courses. Can’t pass clean just push, shove, bash, whatever it takes. NASCAR ahh I mean crashcar is a circus THE WWE of racing. One more thing Dale jr and Jeff burton are horrible calling the race every lap or every pass the are way over the top seems like it’s always the last lap of the race when it could be the 5th

Start over before the last 5% of us loyal fans leave and the sport dies forever, this sport is already last place and barely anyone watches..

Stop road courses go back to ovals road courses are not for NASCAR. NASCAR has lost its way as far as I am concerned.
What I want to know is how NASCAR has tape that will hold a car together at 200mph but can't keep a sign stuck on a fucking wall in fair weather for the duration of a race.. 😡😡😡
The solution to aggressive drivers? Ride around in circles keeping 5 car lengths between them and finishing in the same order they finish. Until the drivers are able to read each other’s minds, they will make wrong moves. Don’t like it? Don’t drive it. Don’t like it? Don’t watch it.
The ROVAL is a ridiculous go-kart track. But, they know that.
I agree as well. We are seeing ridiculously poor judgment being exhibited by many not in the play offs. I also question Nascar officials in calling cautions with little or no consistency which have effected the outcome of the races. Pathetic!

Ryan is spot on! The Roval is a smash up Derby and is a joke! Guys are just running drivers over especially drivers not involved in the playoffs! There are better road courses than the Roval and at Indy! Go back to the oval at the Brick yard but GoodYear needs to fix their crap tires! What hurt the Brickyard was the tire gate crap!

Move that first turn out further out so the losers will not wreck the good drivers. The best drivers should win! But Texas race was worse than ROVAL with blown tires! Elliott was winning ROVAL race by four seconds with a few laps to go when a plywood board fell off the fence causing a yellow flag. Put a few more screws and/or nails in the wall boards. To top it off a a driver out of the playoffs wrecks him a little later.
Maybe they should put better brakes on them.

The cup series has started to feel like the truck series at the end of races. Nobody races with respect anymore. I understand aggressive racing for the win, but not middle of the field. It makes it look like nobody knows what they're doing behind the wheel.
The field has gotten alot more aggressive on restarts as a whole. I am glad Cup went to going 2 wide but the amount of 3 and 4 wide from the middle of the pack that takes place is out of hand.
About 10 years ago Tony Stewart going 3 wide into turn 1 at Loudon on a late restart from the 3rd or 5th position was risky but he pulled it off without causing a wreck. Now everyone drives like a total idiot at each restart regardless of the stage of the race and hardly make any significant gains.
To see and hear the level of frustration from your top drivers in different age groups shows how bad this has got. A large number of fans wanted more road courses and Nascar answered. Unfortunately the suits will probably shift their focus to making more plate racing at intermediate tracks and ditch the gimmicks we are stuck with now. I'll keep watching highlights but will not be attending the 600 or Loudon any longer. I hope I am proven wrong.
Turn the Roval back into infield and forget about it. These end of the race wreck fests is not good racing. It is a gimmick that didn't work.
Superspeedways and road courses have turned in to demo derbies. It's really disappointing. Just a lack of respect by a few drivers. A lot of this non-sense is brought on by the lack of a point system. Would be really nice to season decided by who had the best overall season, not by just who can put together a string of finished in the last 10 races.

Unfortunately, there are people out there who like this style of racing. Even worse, those are the people Nascar seems to be catering to. The rigidity of these stupid new cars proves that.
Road courses are stupid in NASCAR, especially in the playoffs, fight it out on a short track, although if you are getting paid to win on this crap, do not cry about your inability to do good, I don't care about your sorrows...
Well that’s what happens when you have a crappy car that can’t pass, 3 substitute drivers, a series that creates gimmick cautions, and a bunch of guys that are in the series for reasons other than talent. All series have drivers that don’t belong, but its extra prevalent here because of the manufactured drama.
this is all Nascars fault, if they penalize drivers for hitting crashing and bumping other cars out of the way this shit wont happen as much. They just want cars to hit each other, thats not racing. Fines and points penaltys. every time it happens and stop these meatheads from wrecking each other without worrying about anything happening to them from Nascar.

I hate to see equipment get tore up because someone wants to be the asshole that knocks you out of the way. When you are faster it shows. When are not faster but have plenty of aggression it shows as well. People sandbagging until the end sees to be the most likely to run over everyone. The cars need more power to pass instead of bump drafting or you go to the back. Nascar has created your aggravation Ryan.
Worst road course race that I have ever seen,and this is what Nascar is moving forward with, taking out ever other row of seats and installing tables to sit your drinks or prop your fett up because the racing is boring.
