I really appreciate the time you take to do your research and study. What a great title and this is what is so great about the hobby (not always the most expensive, popular hobby love cards) it always amazes me in the different ways to collect and you my friend are a "Phillies Guy" and although I am not, you keep my interest peaked..... Always look forward to the videos you put out!👏
Can’t like this one enough. What a fun video. Maybe I’ll he inspired to take another look at my dodgers team sets, though they are not complete so I’d be missing things. Thanks for making this one.
Deron Johnson also has a 1971 Topps action photo. Gamble, Short, and Johnson were all photos taken during a game against the Cincinnati Reds on June 14, 1970 at Connie Mack Stadium. The Lee May card from the 1971 Topps is also from the same game and features Phillies outfielder Ron Stone leading off first base. So there are four Phillies in action shots in 1971 Topps.
Great concept to do. Ugliest card - Doug bird 79 Burger King Best vet photo Glenn Hubbard fleer 82? With snake. Pre game photo with a back story I have heard but just don’t remember now. Keep it coming!!!
This is fantastic. I love unusual research like this. It's too bad Topps wasn't breathlessly releasing a card for every new prospect that came down the pike in 1957, or the historic John Kennedy would've beaten them all. I've always been irritated that Topps eventually put, "Frank," on Pancho Herrera's cards, a la "Bob" Clemente. I guess as the parent of a half-Hispanic daughter whose name has been regularly mangled by ignorant gabachos, I can testify that this hasn't stopped.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Great list of Phillies Phirsts! 🤛🏻
Phun Phillies Phirsts to Philter Phlipping Phuckery.

Cards don't need to be expensive to be fun. Lotta entertainment in the cheap stuff, too!

Hahaha that Doug Bird card!!! MESS
I'm ready for the definitive debate on the one true first Phillies Baseball Card. Weapons, no holds barred, to the death debate.
I choose swords.
They used to say that two thirds of the Earth was covered in water, and the other third was covered by Garry Maddox.
And he can grow an epic beard!
Very nice video as always
Thank you! Cheers!
I have that Gamble card but its one of those buyback stamped cards
Great video
Thanks for the view, Mangini Collection!

Kennedy not getting a card was a huge loss!
Nice Schmidt rookie too ! My “white whale” as a kid
Mine, too. First big card I bought when put of college with real job. It was...$30.
