I've played and enjoyed this video game so much since I was very young and the reason I've played this spin-off is because it's a Mario game and I do love the Mario series. It's also like one of the first steps I had for playing, enjoying and loving the rhythm games. Man, I do remember my great female cousin (the one who had been my guidance for getting into Touhou) having me listen to Touhou songs and vocals (such as Cirno's Perfect Math Class and Marisa Stole the Precious Thing) and even mentioning to me before since the Touhou fangames that it's always good to try new kind of games . Besides, being a Mario fan is actually about loving the series itself, not having the same game mechanics.
Waluigi is actually a really tough boss on Hard and Very Hard mode. You not only have to make it through the song, but also beat the high ranking Waluigi gets.
Koopa Troopa wasn't really in there as a dancer despite only being background characters in a stage and being one of the special arrows in this game so yeah, a real darn shame most characters didn't get to dance.
The Greenhorn Forest theme from Wario World is one of my favorite Wario based songs. I wish it was in Smash. Speaking of Smash, many of the remixes in this game would be good for SSB.
The fact that bowser is so good at dancing that the only way to beat him at a dance battle is by using rockets to stop him from being able to keep dancing because he gets launched away.

For those that didn't know: Many of the Mush Mode gimmicks were later reworked in the DDR HOTTEST PARTY series gimmicks from HOTTEST PARTY 1 through 3. For example, the Bob-omb and Lava Bubble was reworked as the Foot Missile, Freezie/Fire Flowers and Boos/Giant Boo being re-worked as the Screen Stomper (later replaced by the Sudden Arrow in HOTTEST PARTY 2, which acts more like the Sudden modifier), Spinies becoming the Foot Destructors (later replaced by the Minimizer/Maximizer in HP2), Koopa Troopas being re-worked as the Double Stomp arrow (and then the later introduced Triple Stomp arrow), and so on.
Wait until the spiral of Jaiden Animation kids come to see the game.. either here or if she uploads it on her second channel. Anyways I love this game.
Is no one going to talk about the fact that they murdered that poor Freezie just to get the music key back. It’s not like he was being mean and trying to keep it for itself , just that it couldn’t give it to them because it was lodged in its head.
Mario MELTED that poor freezie because he had a music key stuck inside his head! Not even a quick death! Just slow and painfully MELTING AWAY! You cannot pretend mario is still the good guy after this!
Boss 1 is Waluigi and he's got good moves. You have to survive the Podoboo onslaught untill the end. Don't mess up more then two times or that's it. Also his theme rocks. Big blooper sends smaller bloopers at you and you have to squish them. Then you have to fight off the boss's own attacks which are faster then the arrows. Wario is somehow better then Waluigi. His fight is like Waluigi's but there are arrows along with the hard-hitting Podoboos. The music doesn't remotely compare though. Big Freezie has to be melted with fire or you're toast. If the berg is off-screen at the end you win. Bowser forces you to collect rocket parts to launch an attack, this boosts your dance meter. Three hits and he's done. But he only did all of this to fix his tone deafness. My favorate? Wario. But only just. Waluigi had a better theme, but Wario also had arrows. Wario is just a better version of Waluigi, without the killer theme.
I like how the game has VS AI in the story. Not many DDR games have AI to play against so, this is nice. I find it a little odd jump arrows are not registered together like in other DDD games but, for what it is the game is nice.
I have beat these bosses before, but on EASY difficulty. You might not get any of the Mario enemy type obstacle gimmicks, but at least you have the traditional DDR experience, and I like it that way.
Waluigi May not have his own game...
But at least he’s an evil mastermind. And an amazing dancer
