1. Hadn’t noticed that research you mentioned in the first minute or so.
2. If you have decent below deck tiers and three (or more) officer slots below, you can use Ent E Picard/Ent E Data/5 of 11 on top and Tom Paris, Hugh, And Torres below. My Torres is t3 (recently tiered). Before I tiered her, I had better success with Lorca instead of 5 on top and EMH instead of Torres below. Loot/iso damage above and mitigation/crit chance and hull breach below is a powerful combination.
3. The #1 use case I see for Mbenga is for an anchor player during wave defense. Like Pike, he has synergy with Una for impulse speed. Better than Pike, you can hit any type of hostile with any kind of ship. Better than Pike, he helps heal your shield so you don’t have to pause (as long) for it to regenerate. There are absolutely better options like pmc for survivability, but those anchors really need that impulse speed to pick up the slack in later rounds. Sample crew for the other ship: Ent E Riker/Ent E Data/Lorca.
Always love your comments bud! Lots of good info here. I just started using mbenga in wave defense and he is a good officer indeed when paired with una. I also have had success using him in some setups for Q trials.

Much prefer Harry mudd when hitting gorn mbenga will be help on side instead of eurydice but eury provides synergy for Harry.
Cos isolytic damage first mitigated by isolytic damage then shields.
Isolytic bypasses normal mitigation
Eury instead of ro mudd has mbenga type shield regen procs when hit,
So Harry mudd eurydice and edata for gorn but only worth it if your shields can handle the extra damage load
Just wanted to say thanks for all of your comments. I will never claim to know all of the ins and outs of the game but I appreciate very much comments from my subscribers and viewers, like yourself, as it hogs my memory of certain officers or helps me when I have missed something. Because both are useless once you have better officers…it’s a complicated game but basically both the officers you mentioned are useless once you have better ones, when mudd was released he had a $6000 price tag, for me now he lives on away team missions, you have to be very careful what advice you give in this game
@@RaidersShinkicker guessing you don't understand isolytic damage bypasses mitigation, so which officers boost shield mitigation to 98% or 100% at ops 53?.
Janrway and doc do it after 2 shots hit you first being unmitigated.
Whereas Harry mudd does it for first 2 rounds if procs.
No other officer has that level of shield mitigation.
And very few have isolytic defence at this point
Dunno how long you’ve been playing but when I started they would sell you a latinum pack, as a new player you’d think it was great while they were literally ripping you off, I’m the reason that pack was removed…we all need to start complaining when they blatantly rip us off, we need cc’s who will call out the bad value packs to protect the less savvy members of our community, just my opinion
@@matthewhorton2156 love learning about the game but ya wrong m8, I’m guessing you are a maths bod while I’m a suck it and see kinda player, I know instinctively what works and “for me” because obviously we are all at different points, Harry mudd sucks balls and I personally regret chasing him so hard
The only thing I use him for is smashing big bases if I’m feeling lucky

Unfortunately, this is actually the case for many viewers. Tiktok and RUclips shorts are a perfect example of this. Some people only want very specific information.
