I put an I drive on mine fixed it a bit but it’s still a snail with wheels. How much for the tune? And any idea what turbo they run? A very hard car to find any info on.
Hey mate ive recently bought a 2012 x200 4d20 diesel and wondering what scan tools you used to get the oem codes?. every scan tool ive come across just says see dealership or see service manual.

boost dosnt kick in until rpm hits 2,500,engine also goes into limp mode after driving for 15-20 mts,or when engine warms up
Electronic vehicles could be anything. Need to look at the fault codes to give you an indication of where to start looking. But also if it was anything like the Captiva I just replaced a turbo and injectors one the code was for fuel pump pressure and turned out to be for a harness damage to an injector. So can be miss directing at times.
Thanks for the video. I have a 2012 X200 with DTC 1404 EGR fault. It's had two EGR valves replaced over time and they keep failing from exhaust gas leaking into the motor electronics area.
Do you know of an upgrade part that stops this from happening?

Try cleaning up the soot from the EGR Valve every 20k. Km. Then it will stop leaking until otherwise there isn't any other problem.

Hi I own a 2011 great wall v200 today my twin cab Ute lost power the spanner symbol comes up on the dash then as soon as I lift my foot slightly the spanner symbol disappears and I can start to build speed again then cuts out again I changed oil and oil filter I replaced fuel filter I checked air cleaner and took it to my mechanic and put it on the diagnostic machine and it doesn't read any codes to tell me what's wrong what do u think it could be or what do I need to replace or fix thanks
It will come up the code 1404 which means ur EGR VALVE dislocated either stuck closed or opened. Just get that sooted mate.
@@kamal88mann it wasn't the EGR valve at all the issue causing it was a blow tail light fuse that was all no brake lights told car to go into safety mode and wouldnt let u do normal speed because people behind you would know if U where braking or not

Mine done it after the deck had been off. Panelbeates had failed on a plug most likely the taillight scenario.
ARE these any better these days? Say 2014 models onward? I know the early models weren't much chop.

What does it cost to retune a v200?
Has MRT looked into Water/Methanol Injection to control soot. I have seen research that says it's very effective in preventing the soot being produced in the first place. Does MRT have an agent in Melbourne?
Just bought a new 2021 Steed six speed
after two weeks Im still stalling and jerking away from the lights..its weird in a bad way.
Same here mate..wait till it suddenly loses power while fully laden on road.
Lucky the service guy talked me through the weird button pushing for forced particle burn..dont do over long grass

I have V200 T diesel 2.0 it’s done 83000 k , when should I change the timing belt , how can I find out that it time to replace belt? But car start and run , no noise or anything like that. Just want to know cheers

Question, i got a greatwall, 4d20, I did oil, fuel filter change every 4000km, a catch can is installed, but it feels lazy, I do short driving and i don`t think it ever did a regen, should i manual regen it, or its a automatic function ?

Neil Sookdeo lol bro the turbo is the problem, just upgrade it, the compressor fine are poorly designed so boost comes in like 2000rpm then u have to shift at 4300rpm, secondly, out gas is bad over here so

I have a 2012 x200 I told my dad it hardly moves from a dead start. He says just drive it, I lent it to him for a few weeks and his words for it not moving where that’s just fuc!ed.
