Until a few days before the show, I always thought "A Million Miles Away" was a song by The Hooters. I forgot the exact story, but I think they had bus trouble and got here late for a soundcheck. Maybe even the AC went out on the bus, making them exhausted. I do recall waiting a long time between the opening band and them playing, trying to figure out where some feedback was coming from. So maybe that all had something to do with it, but to me they still seemed to play at the same as usual (but I've only been seeing them live the past 5 or so years).
