8:40 20:27 In the comics Natasha has a weaker version of the super soldier serum and in the MCU they didn’t do a good job explaining that to the audience for those that doesn’t read comics but she also has it in the MCU. In the montage when they are training the little girls there’s a quick scene that they showed the blue serum. That’s why in Avengers 2012 she was able to survive a slap from Hulk and do all the shit she does in the other movies and survive this big fall, etc. So because the serum and training Natasha's has peak human strength, speed, stamina, durability, reflexes, and her healing are in levels superior, she heals five time faster than the average human. So because y’all think she is a normal human you guys think she can’t do these things and it’s not your fault because like I said the MCU didn’t do a good job explaining her character but she can do these things, same thing with other Marvel character that trains their body to peak human like Daredevil, Punisher, Shang Chi, Iron Fist, Elektra, Kingpin, Sam Wilson, etc, all of them can do unrealistic feats because they trained their body to the peak human.
A lot of the stuff gets less ridiculous if you know natasha is stronger than the average human because of a version of the super soldier serum used to make black widows.
That's comic lore and not MCU lore though. 🤷🏾♂️
I’m still pissed that Natasha didn’t get her own movie until so late and then it just became a movie to set up Yelena (who I love) but she should have gotten her own movie ages ago. She should have gotten a movie showing her history with the Red Room in like phase 2 or 3.
Actually Black Widow and the other Widows are enhanced. If u look closely in the opening credits you see the serum. In the comics Natasha has the serum but its not as strong as captain America serum
Plus the film explains that genetically she was always a touch different. Add in the serum, she's a bit different 😂
For this movie, I'll use a joke from THE BOYS:
"GIRLS GET IT DONE!"
Kinda insane that Hoppers been to 2 Russian Prisons😂 ST Season 4
It's like you guys aren't paying attention and never watched a marvel movie
You're dismissed MCU Stan. There's no excuse for bad writing. Overly unrealistic action/stunts for people who aren't super soldiers/magical. Or crappy setup/payoffs. This is a terrible movie and their critique was spot on
@@janiceegreene6353 I agree that the writing wasn’t the best because they didn’t explain how the widows actually have a weaker version of the super serum
@@es7328 exactly, I love the whole sister bonding thing but the writing is so vague lol how did non mcu fans feel watching this.
I personally enjoyed the movie. I liked the concept behind it, but I was also very skeptical about the amount of times they escaped death and weren’t affected at all by car crashes, falls, and explosions. People with superpowers like Captain America and Spider-Man and others, I can understand, but the widows don’t have any of that (not that I know of). So the action scenes were cool, but they were also hard for me believe and I think that dragged the movie down a bit for me.
The widows have a weaker version of the super soldier serum
the widows are durable and strong, just not as strong as the first, second generation of super soldiers. Like, she's weaker than bucky of course, but she will _easily_ win a battle against a 7 ft gym junkie.
When are we gonna see more X-MEN?
Speaking of fast & furious I'm still waiting on a reaction for the 7th one unless I just missed you guys react to it🤔
They did a few months ago
@@auburnmann3630 Thank you
Proof that Black Widow is Lara Croft? She can die a million times during a story and still win the game because there are infinite lives. (I guess, this is the same thing for Nathan Drake as well...)
I actually really like maybe 80% of the movie, including the overall plot, the pacing, and the tone balancing between serious and humorous.
But yes, the two things that bugged me the most is:
1) As you guys and most viewers seem to say, the action scenes are too "big" for Nat and Yelena to be so undamaged - made them seemingly invincible. Other MCU movies have moments of this problem too but not this much. They did totally take the wrong lessons from the Fast & Furious movies.
2) Dreykov's super pheromones. I can buy the idea that he used pheromones to affect Widows' brains into not wanting to harm him physically, but to show it visually as Nat being able to do 80% of a stabbing motion but is physically incapable of doing the last 20% is really stupid.
For your first one, the widows have a weaker version of the super soldier serum. That explains that.
@@es7328 In the comics, definitely. But they've never made mention of that anywhere in the MCU though, including in this movie. If anything, the way Dreykov talks about girls and Widows in this, it seems like he'd have hated giving them serums. And Red Guardian says something about being the first and only to get a serum (but yes, he could be specifically talking about the stronger version of it).
So I dunno, they've never said it outright as far as I know, but you could be right. Maybe we're supposed to just infer they have based on the fact that Nat seems almost inhuman in this, lol.
@@cheekyboomboom8973 they also did mention widows had to be genetically selected due to the serum.
A big issue with this movie is that they actually ruined the Taskmaster character. In the comics, Taskmaster is a expert combat fighter who can mimic any fighting style he sees. The movie got that part down. But where they messed up is that they made her just a bland, mindless, mute mercenary. Whereas in the comics, Taskmaster is extremely witty and talkative and has a big personality akin to Deadpool.
Maybe they'll get to that in Thunderbolts
Y’all should react to the eternals
they will. They're slowly going forward, they're currently watching loki, then what if, then shang chi. Eternals after that.
Based on their current views, they're gonna hate every MCU project in phase 4.
It wasn’t horrible but if the widows don’t have some kind of sup serum I call bs.
Yes the widows have a weaker version of the serum.
Everybody should always be prepared to call bs on superhero movies, but it's _kind of_ valid cause they do have a version of the serum. Weaker than the one bucky got, and stronger than the one John got.
Where is it ever stated in the MCU that Black Widows have the super solider serum? 🤔
You’re watching a marvel movie and criticizing it for being too ridiculous and not serious enough. Like… do you even know anything about the marvel comic universe? It’s never been serious… always been ridiculous.
If you don''t want to react anymore, don't continue hoping for better shows or movies in the future. It doesn't get any better than Wandavision or Loki. Moon knight is terrifyingly good but except that, no. I personally like a lot of the phase 4 stuff, but there's no reason for anyone to continue if they don't get the marvel feel from watching anymore. When the MCU was building towards infinity war, the main characters were Cap, Tony, Thor etc. Now that it's building again, the main avengers have been cast to the side and minor (less popular) heroes are getting spotlight, of course people will stray. That being said, another reason is, some of the shows' writing is just bad, period. Hopefully Wakanda forever and Quantumania gets better.
Yeah it's gonna be a drag watching their reviews for phase 4.
@@xman48205 I know they seem exhausted lol
Everything was heading towards INFINITY WAR and ENDGAME
Now the MCU became one big bubble, ready to burst
If you guys aren’t liking Marvel stuff anymore maybe just stop watching it? Seems like you’ve already made up your mind that it’s not good anymore no matter what.
Yeah, it's like they don't appreciate that this is ficton. Based on comic books. Of course it's not realistic, it's entertainment. They should react to documentaries, then their cynicism would be better utilized.
@@KCATWIL y'all be fragile, and willfully ignorant. Just cause something is fiction doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. It has to follow the rules within its universe. So everything they said is valid. And you know that, but instead you chose to make a silly case
What? You expect everyone to just cheer and praise like sheep? We need people calling out the BS because that's how we establish standards.
@@jacobpresta5808 you just accused other of being sheep while saying they’re ignorant. 😂😂😂 I see the self-awareness is not your forte.
After Endgame, the MCU ceased to be relevant
And the next Avengers won't be any better
You may not like it but the MCU is still relevant and will continue to be for the next 10 plus years.
Honestly Phase 4 is the second best after Phase 3. It’s not perfect, but none of the phases are perfect and never will. Phase 4 has good content and bad, just like every phase. Hell, phase 1-2 has some of the worse MCU movies.
All of these:
NWH, Loki, Shang Chi, Moon Knight, Werewolf by night, WandaVision, TFTWS and Hawkeye, are between 7-8/10 and in movie scale that’s good/great. And we still have potential to have another good/great movie with Wakanda Forever and we still have potential with F4, Blade, Ant Man 3, Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, etc. The MCU will always be inconsistent, it will have good movies and bad movies but that doesn’t mean the MCU is dead, everyone of y’all that think that are dumb. Phase 1 had Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, that mean The MCU was dead in Phase 1? No, because it also had good movies like Avengers, Iron Man and Thor. Phase 2 had Thor 2, Iron Man 3 and Ant Man, does it mean it was dead? Nah, because it also had good movies like Winter Soldiers and GOTG and AOU.
Phase 4 is the same it has good content and bad content, doesn’t mean it’s dead. Kang looks amazing and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing villain when we get there. When Phase 5 introduce more of the mutants and they become the priority of the MCU is going to be amazing. The MCU is far from dead.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 you are joking right ? phase 4 may have money 1-2 did not have but when it comes to plot, pasing or character development those phases were the best like he said after Endgame everything lost soul not to mention bad shows on disney +
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 Don't waste your time or breath. The haters that have spent the last two and a half years bashing the MCU can't be convinced there's still good in it anymore. They only see the bad. Yes, Phase 4 has admittedly had more bad than any other Phase but that's only because it's had twice the content of any other Phase so there's been twice the room for error. And as you said, EVERY Phase has its slip-ups. These people that bash Marvel will still continue to watch.
@@DukeDarkshadow It’s good to see someone smart, not like the other user that mentioned me…I didn’t even bothered to reply back after that stupid comment.
Don't watch anymore than. We're years away from the next Avengers movie anyway. 🤷🏾♂️
This movie is terrible. But I hope you enjoy
It’s not but okay

@@jovieshacarty5811 these guys find everything entertaining and you can tell during the movie that not even they are enjoying it
One of the best in the MCU but ok.
