I’ve been craving sushi in Las Vegas lately. Let’s see what the ARIA and Bellagio has to offer. These are MGM Resorts’ flagship sushi-inspired restaurants. Do they live up to the billing or are there better Vegas sushi options out there?

I love your last reason for making this video! Very awesome! Great rundown of the menu with photos and videos! I look forward to the abalone video when you do the cruise video. Sucks that the tasting menu wasn't too great. It didn't look too great for $100 haha. Looked like there was more ginger on the plate than nigiri. Such a huge plate for one mochi ice cream too. Try to do the wicked spoon video before I go in the Fall haha. I'm a fan of octopus and used to catch them as a kid. Free donut too? Amazing!
On paper the $100 tasting menu seemed like a “bargain” but the food quality that night was not it. I love ginger but not as a main course, and that mochi to plate ratio was off the charts. Lol For sure, I’ll do my Wicked Spoon experience by June. Hopefully, June of this year. :) Hope you’re still catching octopus!
Yeah, that donut ball moment was memorable. It looked like I hounded their table but as I was walking by with my camera away from them, they imitated a gesture to see if I’m filming for personal footage or social media…that’s when I panned in and commented on their donuts balls.

@@1takesituation I wonder if it was just a bad night or it is normally weak quality like that. Shame when dish after dish had something disappointing about it haha. I sort of felt that way at the Wynn Buffet haha. Lots of time for the Wicked Spoon video. Earliest that we will come is September. I'm really liking the week of Oct 10th but still waiting on the Raiders schedule to come out.

@@Jono2002 I’ve been to Yellowtail a few times over the years including when they first opened over 10 years ago and unfortunately never had a dish that made me go, “oh yeah, this is good.” Lol But in terms of nigiri sushi, unfairness to Yellowtail, I’ve yet to experience a wow moment with any of the Vegas Strip sushi spots. Vegas Strip in general ought to elevate their nigiri game…it’ll make bank cause many Asians will appreciate it. Lol
Ok, I will edit Wicked Spoon before September 2023! Thank you for the Laughing Lion reminder, I just checked out his channel. One of your videos had a 5 second part outside Circa that had a flow like Laughing Lion. He’s copying your style! Lol

What time is good to book to try to get a patio seat?
Ideally, I like to experience sunset and nighttime for the Bellagio fountain side patio situation. Just keep in mind, patio is first come, first serve…so, I’ll book close to open time and if they tell me patio is all taken, I say, “I’m willing to wait until a patio table opens up”

@@sondraxcore-great question. Short answer: the iconic Bellagio Fountain side restaurant is Picasso (check my Picasso video 😂) long story: it all depends on budget and what type of food you prefer.
Question: how often do you visit Vegas? And what restaurant on the vegas strip impressed you the most that you’ve tried so far.

Thank you for the review! For a fine dining restaurant at the Bellagio the plating for those dishes at Yellowtail did not look appetizing. They could aleast throw some flowers or plants on those plates and make them look more appealing😅. If you like wonton soups. Noodles at the Bellagio does a good job. We like the shrimp wonton soup very much, and you get a good size bowl for about $20.

Hi! No, you do not have to be Bellagio guest. If I may interject, I recommend any other Bellagio fountain-side restaurant than Yellowtail. Please watch my other fountain side restaurants. I’ll provide video links if you’re down to take a look
We will definitely go to Catch and order the grilled Octopus next time. You mentioned it was tough, but I like my octopus on the chewy side. The Herb Roasted Branzino looks delicious.

I agree, octopus got to be chewy and give a feeling that my teeth is working a little. Lol my favorite octopus dish at Aria restaurants happened at Carbone…it tasted like an Italian-American version of “Nakji-bokkeum”…delicious. Haha, I’m still blown away your husband recognized me. I say this because people just look different from video to real life….thank you for noting that I’m cuter in person! Awesome I got to meet your husband. Let’s do it again
Bummer. I always root for Bellagio’s restaurants because it’s my favorite resort in Vegas. Yellowtail and Michael Mina seem to be similar to Hell’s Kitchen: 60% of people say what an underwhelming ripoff that was and 40% say amazing meal can’t wait to come back. Hoping it was an off night/last day before fresh delivery or something. Great video as always 1Take (Take1 😂).
You’ve accurately summed up Yellowtail and MM. MM is the most expensive restaurant at Bellagio yet it looks like an overdressed Dennys inside. Don’t get me started on their $350 melas lol Which is your favorite Bellagio Fountain restaurant?
@@1takesituation honestly Prime. I know you like JG Steakhouse at Aria better, but I’ve always enjoyed my meals at Prime. We need to link up in some J. Lindeberg and eat some steak.
@@alexanderloper4742 the only element I like JG better is their steaks taste slightly better on average. Location, atmosphere, decor, the escalator down, Prime is just different. I’d pick Prime if I’m offered one last visit to either JG and Prime.

Catch is awful. It’s extremely loud and dark. The portions are microscopic.
