When the ventures pick up a guitar it’s transformed from a ordinary guitar to an instrument that is totally out of this world and magical sounding. They bring out sounds you never thought existed
I love listening to their music. They don't get enough credit for the contribution they made to music. I remember in high school in the early 60's where every high school had battle of the band almost every week to pick the best band for the high school. Then there'd be competition at the city level to determine the best band.
I hear sooo many influences on many later musical artists! The Ventures were great and I can only thank our Japanese friends for keeping it all alive!!
I feel the same way. That modulation key change at the end was not overly exaggerated and was perfectly timed. Same with the stops at the end. Beautiful !
