THANK YOU I totally danced around the lounge where my grandkids/daughter watched in amazement coz 'nani only dances 2 songs that tickle her fancy' lol the memories csme glowing back WOW totally speechless, my grandkids are older than I was when this song came out & to hear this was "unreal" ... love it BIG UPS 4 technology coz it wud have been lost 4ever (4 me anyways) I remember where I was how kool is that THANK YOU💯🙏

I remember singing this with my mum back in the late 70’s, 4 hour drive to our favourite beach holiday spot. She passed away 5 years ago, seems like yesterday.
similar memories here, I used to play their 45 in our musicbox as a 4-5 yrs old, which dad did not let anybody touch except me. I could not read but find the correct records every time and listen to them..:) it reminds me of my childhood and our house with dad, mom, brother and sisters. My dad and brother passed away now, such mixed feelings peace and tranquility and sorrow/longing for these days at the same time.

Ich kannte ihn nicht, und deshalb stellte ich erst ziemlich spät fest, dass er mich total geflasht hatte. Bis ich aber meinen Kassenrecorder startklar gemacht hatte (die Älteren unter Ihnen werden sich erinnern) , war der Song schon fast fertig, ich hatte nur noch die zweite Strophe und den Refrain drauf... Der Moderator rief zum Schluss noch was von ‚Mouth and Macneal‘, das hatte ich mir zwar gemerkt, wie der Song hieß, hatte ich aber nicht mitbekommen.
