      @AFloridaSon 4 года назад +6

      No offence, I realize that you are saying that T.Rex deserves their accolades, which they (Marc) definitely deserve(s). But RNR HOF is a gimmick. It's an expensive carnival sideshow, with built in hype. It's about selling tickets, more than recognizing the true gods of Rock-N-Roll. As a museum, it makes sense. But as a Hall Of Fame, _and the judge_ of who has a right to be in and who doesn't, *it's a total fail.* Two good things come from T Rex being inducted into the HOF. One, it will happen on my birthday ♉️ 🙌 👏 👍, and 2, people who have not gotten know T Rex, will finally have a better chance. Beyond that, take a look at who is in, and look at who has been passed over. RNRHOF is a business. It's *_NOT_* Rock-N-Roll. *Damn the man, save The Empire!* (Congrats Marc, you deserve this, but you deserve to be in the RNR HOF, but you deserve *_true_* commendations, as well. Although when God summoned for you to perform for Him personally, I guess that's pretty damn good merit. God has great taste in music. RIP).

      Und ich war 1971 ein kleiner 6 jähriger Junge☺️. T-Rex, Slade, Sweet , Alice Cooper , Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin war so meins🫠. Wuchs dann immer mehr in die Metall-Szene rein, der ich bis heute Treu bin☺️. Aber vieles aus den 60igern und 70igern ist Zeitlos geblieben🫠.
      Aber die gut Zeit neigt sich dem Ende entgegen. Und das gilt nicht nur für die Musik😔.

      Except the one where he hits notes and riffs on time with the dub over...they literally never do anything live at all...every tape I've ever seen has a couple live songs and the rest is dubs and synched...they say bolan would get high and not be able to perform...or would but would collapse or lose his shit then regain his composure or flop the whole way through in and out over and over...sing half the lyrics...but I never see him look anything but tobacco tired as fuck and salty...but I do see a ton of synch performances....dunno why...tobacco ruined musicians...it was extremely abused and artist kept themselves up inordinate hours smoking at least....ruin...just ruin...I think bob Dylan is the only person I ever saw actually suceed that way but most likely because he was a bit of a tripper and his songs were light but still...anyways...I like this band...but...it just is curious why there's less performing done...he is a flashy guy but....in a contest...I rank Eric burden one of the tops....I mean he can throw down and perform....one of my retro faves...anyways...enjoy.
