Cool video Jawtooth. Wow I couldn’t hardly believe that boy on that bicycle looked at that train that was booking right along and then just rode right out in front of it. Didn’t even speed up. That was too close!😟

We started with a fabulously long mixed manifest! There was very long plate steel and welded rail cars among others. Quite impressive, JT! Thank you so much. 😀😀😀😀❤❤❤❤
Thought the guy on the bike was a close one! Great long train, lots of different cars. There’s Loki and Chessie working in the dirt again. Thanks JT. ❤
Wrong. That black covered hopper @27:43 is no "special edition" of anything. "Empyreal 75" refers to the cargo...plant-based, high-purity / protein corn concentrate. Sorry...I know you were hoping it's some sort of "heritage" car...nice shot, but no cigar.
My grandfather worked for L&N for 43 years. Laid track throughout the area here and worked out of the old DeCoursey yard when it was large and busy. He lived next to railroad and farmed after retiring from L&N. Would set his pocket watch by the train. Fond memories.
This is another great video of trains in Ohio at some great crossings and nice scenery, the amazing live action pets and the awesome music slide show thanks again Jaw Tooth.🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚂🇺🇲
There was a long intermodal in Hamilton followed by a 127 car mixed manifest with 5 locomotives out by the sewage treatment plant. Both of them were very good trains! I enjoyed this video JT! You caught great trains as usual, and the production was excellent as well. I'm never disappointed with your videos! I thank you also for all of the sacrifices you make to bring them to us. You are to be honored for that. I can't tell you how much it means to me, my friend. I pray you and your family have a blessed weekend! Please be safe and I'll chat with you again soon, I hope. Until then. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey jaw tooth awesome trains. People in Hamilton would not like me at crossing. As a railfan I'll stop soon as flashers starts. People who run crossing probably ignore the bathroom warnings their body gives them. Letting them know that Indeed to find a bathroom. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
I can’t help but think what a great place one of those seats might have been for Hobo Shoestring, sitting up there as The Hobo King surveying all the great land, although I expect he’d pick somewhere a little more covert for himself. 😇🚂
Incredible video Mr Jawtooth man I can’t believe it’s a new month August Man July and June for sure went by fast anyways keep up loading more new videos!!!
Confirming...your camera caught the "high green" being "knocked-down" @2:13. Three "Fallen Flags" followed...ConRail boxcar @3:56, plus a pair of "Family Lines" covered hoppers @4:30 and @5:14. That unusual black TILX covered hopper @27:43 carries "high-purity, high-protein, plant-based corn concentrate" (quoting from Cargill's website) called "Empyreal75" (hence the labeling on the car's side). Love visiting Hamilton with you, JT...👍👍
I see too many bicyclists ride like they are immortal! They think traffic rules don't apply to them. Unfortunately some pay the price. I put a dashcam in my car just incase! Great video! Hamilton never disappoints. Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on and stay cool
One time in Florida a guy on a bike carried his bike across a train that was just starting to move. Lol. Thanks again for the Super Chat Mark! I will put that in the gas on my next trip. I appreciate your support and thanks again!
I grew up between two sets of north/south tracks and a third set one more mile distant. Both my parents worked for the CRI&P. We always marveled at the sheer stupidity of those betting against trains.
Another excellent video JT and you better put that hat back on that ball head. Are you gonna be like Scott with skin cancer on top of the head and by the way that was a pretty nice looking hat you had on yesterday I’d like to have one like that when I’m out mowing my yard, but anyway, my friend you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
The location where the teenager shot across the tracks just before the CSX train came to the crossing looks like a new location for railfanning in Hamilton, Ohio, Jaw Tooth. I do not remember seeing this location before. This is the second time that you have caught welded rail cars on a train recently. You caught the second train in Hamilton, Ohio at the Dayton Street crossing. You decided to use a different angle at this crossing by standing on the north side of the tracks. Usually, when you are at this crossing, you are on the south side of the tracks. The last train on this video that you caught at the Hamilton Water Treatment plant road crossing had a long string of steel coil cars in the consist. Thank you for this video, Jaw Tooth! (Posted 1 August 2024 at 1218 CDT.)
On the 5 engine train, the middle engine Triple 8 2is a 1971 model EMD SD40-2, the following engines 127 and 297 are set to be rebuilt into CM44AC / (GE AC4400CWM) and renumbered in the 7200 series.
Hi Brian jaw tooth I spent my working life as a goods guard on british Rail . The trains I worked were nothing like what I'm watching here ,these are awesome.
Im starting to miss new shoestring videos he was a very smart and interesting person to say the least i would have loved to just have a coffee with him and listen to some of his stories rip buddy
He really was a great person. I was very fortunate to have him as a friend and it was always a joy when he would send me a voice text at random. He had so many stories that he could have told about his life on the rails. He was a legend and one of a kind
Hey JT NICE video. Real interesting that rail is moved that way. How many cars in all on that first 🚂? It sure was a long one. That IM was fast and long.

Good chance that was welding equipment on the back end of the empty welded rail cars tooth. I retired from a company that supplied welding transformers ,the holland company makes rail welding machines.
Township Ave in Elmwood has a lot of action two lines cross within a mile of each other my in-laws live on that rd and my father in law bought the old trolley car maintenance building next door to them on the corner of Helen and township very cool old building
Just like Johnny Cash one sees you moved things just a little farther down the line. Two great little obscure items by those buildings @:40 where a curved siding has been removed and @:45 the grade Crossing signal with the overhead flasher for that small alley in the crossing which is actually to the side. Once again some fantastic ultra long Cincinnati freights but they certainly kept on moving as they displayed their various Freight cars The train up by the Waterworks was right on cue to greet you with the four cars of Frozen potatoes plus the various styles and colors of mostly CSX steel coil cars. With that new photo location you also seem to have captured several older buildings that have escaped the wreckers ball from a city center that has pretty much been demolished. Those rails sure stay shiny in the Queen City. Thanks!
I have to admit that I never noticed those first two things. I looked on Google Maps and where that track used to be was a connection from one line to the other. There was a wye there at some time and I just learned about it lol. Next time I go there I'm going to take a closer look and also show those lights for the alley. Thanks for watching and commenting Paul!
That guy on the bicycle is stupid. Guess he doesn't care about his life. Beautiful scenery, excellent video. That you for making my morning in the rehab center. Hope I can go home soon, don't like this bed, prefer my own lol. Have a nice day 😊🌈
Yes for sure. I keep forgetting. I have it with me and I forget to put it on when the trains come. I have a spot that came back and I go to the doctor next month for it
Just can't fix stupid. That kid on the bike may not grow old doing stuff like that. I'm not well educated in some things - why do they have crew members perched on the rail cars? The rails are in there so well (when loaded, of course), there should be no worries, I would think. Another excellent video, son, to welcome me back after 4.5 long, grueling days without Internet for my laptop - the power converter got zapped by lightning. Now Heidi and I can camp out and watch JAW TOOTH videos until the trains run out of coal, or we get caught up, whichever happens first. God blesses us abundantly and I'm elated to know that you realize that also, JT.
Come on down to Conway Pennsylvania for the biggest Conrail rail yards in history finally got an early jaw tooth train video..also West Pittsburgh Pennsylvania has a nice Csx rail yard!
