*sent from my wife's computer* So as I commented after Part 1, Jeff is a good friend. As I watched Part 2, I couldn't help but relive the countless hours of detailing each and every one of these cars, including a few that have been sold, something Jeff rarely does, as well as a couple that as not shown, maybe in Part 3? But as I get to spend time with each car, polishing, detailing and more, inevitably, I think to myself, oh this one is my favorite, no question. Then I move on to the next car and think, oh this one is my favorite no question. And that process just continues. It's really just remarkable what Jeff has been able to put together over the years and now share. I feel so privileged to be amongst his group of trusted friends that get to enjoy this special place and hid friendship on a regular basis. But beyond all that, as you now can see, Jeff is a masterful storyteller. I'm thrilled to see him have the chance to put this video series out there and share this collection and these fascinating and charming stories. My personal favorite line from Part 2 was during the Riviera story on the phone with the police dispatcher when asked, "Do you want the deer?" Love it! - Brent Budgor

Your welcome, at 68 I dream of the past often, I grew up in a hot rod family and was the youngest. My dad, brother and I, would wait for the premier day in September, if I remember correctly they would unveil the cars around 6 pm, my dad was a Ford guy so that was our first stop, all the dealers were on the same street and within walking distance, so spectacular to see, the heat off of the searchlights was incredible but added to the fanfare. I especially love your wife’s Cadillac and have ordered the book for my collection. Again thanks for sharing your wonderful collection of cars, I have so many favorites.

Great collection particularly with the wonderful stories. When I was 11 years old, I turned on the TV one night to a show about 2 young guys bombing around the country in a Corvette. I was hooked on the TV show and the car and I promised myself that one day I would own a Corvette. Well that day arrived a few weeks ago when my 2021 Torch Red C8 Corvette arrived. I was born and raised in East Providence and we used to ride our bikes over to Tasca Ford to look at the cars. I remember when they had a 427 Cobra sitting in the showroom (I don't think it was even for sale) and one of the salesman that I was friendly with let sit in it. I was in heaven. So that was my childhood; Corvettes and Cobras. I own a Corvette, next up a Cobra!

The DAV would get the plate numbers from all the DMV's and produce the miniature tags and mail them to the owners, they just ask for donations, If you lost your key, anyone could just put them in a mailbox and they would be returned to you.

I love the stories. It makes me sad though. When those cars were new, a regular, working guy like me could've afforded one. And there were so many different ways to make improvements and personalize them. Now it's impossible to build a good hot rod, street rod, custom, or even just hop up your daily driver unless you're very well off. Newer vehicles aren't made for customization. The most you can do is maybe a few bolt on parts but then you have to reprogram the computer every time you make a change. If you're lucky enough to find an older car to build, they're usually either way too expensive, too rusted or wrecked, or someone has already done so much to them it's not worth trying to tear it down and start over. It's definitely not a good time for gearheads. Especially poor ones

      Philip,
Thanks, but to be fair, all the early 60's Caddy's were pretty special, its hard for me to pick a favorite.

What? No Oldsmobile? You have the five GM division signs.

      PapaMike,
Thanks for commenting, I understand the problem, but I've just not found the "right" Oldsmobile yet.

Love the cars and the building but this man has the most annoying ah-ah-ah way of speaking. Take some public speaking lessons asap.

      Edward,
Please forgive my speaking, its the first time I've attempted to share the collection like this. However, I'll consider your suggestion, thank you for commenting!

@@jeffreygoldstein506 Jeff, don't ever change your style of speaking, it is a very welcoming manner and your presentation is full of many experiences melded into a particular story.
The time I spent listening to you was, indeed, time well spent.

Rich guy blabbering on about his childish collection of cars.
Google his name and see how he cheats people out of property. LOL
