I am confused, please help. Broken idols- in life things get broken that’s how we know to fix them, that’s how we recognize gods infinite power over our lives. In nature, mountains and trees are constantly breaking and forming into new beauty yet still admired. Our hearts get broken all the time. There is value in brokenness. If an idol is expensive and gets chipped or a hand breaks because it fell without intention and we decide to fix it with glue, why can it not be placed back in the prayer place. Why must the pictures of our deceased not be in the prayer room when their spirit is much closer to god. I would really appreciate answers to these.
@@RS-ln3ns For what it's worth, the Vastu tips websites I have looked at say you should not keep Nataraja image in your home shrine. You can have a Nataraja image as decoration in your home but it should be kept off the floor and it should be a peaceful, relaxed Nataraja and not wrathful in appearance.
@@jethrobradley7850 YES, I'VE HEARD THE SAME. SO IT'S OK TO HAVE THE DANCING SHIVA STATUE DISPLAYED AT HOME, AS A DECORATION THEN ? A LOT OF HINDUS SEEM TO NOT WANT TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION, FOR SOME REASON.
@@RS-ln3ns I would guess that any reluctance to answer may be because there are so many different beliefs, sects and traditions throughout Hinduism, that there is no absolute right or wrong answer to your question. I have seen shrines in homes which break the rules of Vastu Shastra, for example.
Keeping Idols and photos are the first mistake you guys are doing,Temples are made as per the vasthu shatra and powers.When ever you need to conduct Poojas go to temples.poojas inside the home is total negative. Idols photos in markets are only for business purposes.
