Kimmel would love to have as many viewers as Tucker. JK’s show has 10 x the budget and half the viewers. When Jimmy is done he isn’t going to be able to go to a streaming service where he makes even more like TC will do.
Kimmel nets only about million to 2 million viewers, to Carlson’s 3.5. Carlson is on a cable network (well, was, anyhow) vs. Kimmel being regular old broadcast TV… so Kimmel was more accessible, and still watched by 1/3-1/2 as many people. Apparently, Kimmel was only bringing in 236,000 viewers in his target demographic, too… that’s insane. In Carlson’s last week, he was still bringing in that 3.5 million, while that same week Kimmel was only managing 1.5… yikes. Kimmel is one to have majorly failed upward. The rubric for success is totally different, based on who you ask, I guess… keep on “succeeding” Jimmy? Once his career on this show is over, there will not be other offers… he was a mistake, from the jump. How quickly people forget how problematic he was, too! Why has he not gotten “cancelled” for his past, as so many have? I mean, it’s been captured on video, for anyone who is interested in evaluating, factually…
