You seem to have more pig than you can possibly put in your freezer. Do you sell some for meat and/or sell the babies for extra money? Also, have you researched "Idaho Pasture Pigs ( IPP's). If so, what do you think?

Please consider keeping the volume steady in your videos. I have to lower the volume when the music plays and raise it when you talk...
In otherwise don't mind the music too much as long as I can hear you clearly over it...
    Thanks

Thanks so much for all this information! My husband has been talking to me about wanting to get Kunekune pigs for meat, but we have no experience with pigs. So this was a very helpful overview, and I look forward to watching your other videos on Kunekunes.

We never raised pigs before these. They are a great pig to start with. The only downside for raising them for meat is if you are looking for a quick turnaround on the meat. Kunes usually take around 16-18 months till we butcher.
      Thanks is for following along

Great video! We got a KuneKune pig as a pet & she really is just like one of the dogs 😁 Although we did think she’d be smaller than she is 😂 She’s huge compared to yours, she weighs in at 300lb! She has 1.5 acres to herself, do you think that’s why she’s so big?

    • @KCFarms

Kind of like finger nails. The clear ones are easier because you can see the quick. You don’t want them to curl up and they also form cups at the bottom.

I want to add my comment to pigs...they are clean, they never poop in their house, they have one spot in the yard to poop! Their poop does smell, but it is dirty on the part of the owner that allows the awful smell! You MUSY clean the poop up on ALL pets & it should be done on a daily basis. If you don't & there is odor, it's your own fault. I don't even have flies in my hen house. I only have four, but if I had more I would clean it every hour if necessary to keep the odor down. Cows are dirty. They will poop anyplace & that includes their stall & their feed pan! I know these things I have said I have experienced it! Everything else he says is also 100% true!
