Tactical Cats I've found my beloved cat dead, yesterday. I cannot explain how much I miss him and feel empty inside, thinking about the fact that I won't see him anymore. He was simply an amazing creature; and to me and my parents and brother He was another member of the family. May him rest in peace; I'm sure he's in a better place. :(

I have one of those. It would look like it was snowing in my house at the end of the day if daily vacuuming and dusting didn't happen! Oh, and raw feeding and daily grooming (for long haired cats) and weekly grooming (for short haired cats) will solve that vomit problem. Mine do that less than once a year.
wish I could but my husband's allergic and we have birds..so I volunteer at a cat shelter for my kitty time.

teo magi Maybe try getting custom shots if that's available where you live and is in your budget. My dad was allergic to everything and after getting those shots( granted he did it for a very long time) allergies subsided

1980. I take a once a day pill, and I vacuum 2X a week, LOL. I cannot imagine a life without cats at this point in my life. I currently have Buddy, a 7 year old rescue kitty. He was in a shelter. I saw him on a chair. I sat next to him, talked to him and petted him. He was friendly right away. Cats choose you. He's been living with me now since November 2016. He's a great cat! Full of love, and often amusing.

In my experience, three or more is the magic number. One kitty needs a buddy but with three, if one wants to play, one of the other two will want to play too. It makes for a more peaceful household. It also works well with discipline. If one wants to misbehave, the other two will intimidate the naughty one to behave. I couldn't or wouldn't imagine my life without cats. They are wonderful companions!

I am currently without cats in my home but I did have many cats over a 25 year period. I found my cats to be one of the most wonderful parts of my life. They are always in my heart and I miss them all terribly. I now live vicariously through your cats with you all your fabulous videos :) Which is also why I am always asking about sweet little Cupcake to come over to my house for a playdate !! Hugs, snuggles and chin scritches to all the KitCats !!

Man, this is adorable. It's videos like this that get me by when I'm away at school and my cat is back with my parents.
By the way, holy butts, that song is a song I've been looking for for ages. Allow me to regale you with my tale. I have a version of it which was remixed a couple years ago by a group called the P5 Imagining Project, but it is slightly slowed down, has a drum beat, and has background audio of a small town. It is called "Downtown Naniwa." After searching for some time, I was finally convinced that was the only version of the song there was, but then THIS video! This video proved an original existed! So, I went and did more digging, and some new information came up! So for those interested, the original music used in this vid is almost: "DJおかわり x サンストーン - 放課後" or "DJ Okawari x Sansutoun(Sunstone?) - After School". That version has the drum beat and childrens' voices in the background (hence the "school" title), and isn't slowed down. But I still cant find the version that is just melody. However, this is a good first step! And so, my quest continues.

Yes, 3 years ago if anyone would have told me that I will have a cat living with me! I would never believe that in a million years!! In fact when I first saw my cat, I called my brother and asked him to take the cat away from me! But, I don't know what this cat did to me, but not only I brought him to my house, even though I have terrible allergies, but I think to myself that this cat is the best thing that is ever happened to me, besides other things! He changed my inside world!!! Now I am an animal lover to the point where I donate money to a different animal shelters. And watch cat videos 😻And all this only because of my cat. Before he came into my life, I never cared about animals at all. But..it is like a magic what one cat can do to you😻👏🏻🌈💞🎈🎄🍭🏡🍫🎄I am just happy that I was chosen to find my cat and bring him home and have him now!!!! 😻👏🏻🌈🏡🎉💞🌹💕🍫😸🎂💐🌈

What some people are allergic to is not the cat or the cat's fur but it's the cat's dander. Some cats have dander and it's located on their back right infront of where their tail starts. There are lots and lots of cats with no dander at all, so check their back neat the tail area & rub the fur there if you do not see any dander / dandruff flakes then you will not allergic to that particular cat, guaranteed ..

Last month I had to put my beloved Katie to sleep; she was dying of kidney failure. Last week, as consolation, I adopted a small young tortoiseshell (the vet who ran the shelter estimated her at a year old, but I think she may not be done growing yet).
I have named her "Cupcake" after your similar cat :-)

Truer words have never been written. My cat is nearly 15. I consider him one of my dearest friends. He has been there for me through some really rough times. He is devoted to my 95 yo father who is a bit unstable when he walks through the house. Rusty leads Pop from room to room and often sleeps with him at night. The two of them are my rays of sunshine.

All of these permissions are what makes cats more interesting and when you get at least four siblings that gets the best out of them. They show us how similar they are to us.

I adopted or Fiesta adopted me seven years ago on Oct 24th, 2010. The shelter at the time was a kill shelter. She was there for over six months. I lost my grandma to cancer and my life was torn. I suffered from depression and anxiety from her death. I walked into our shelter wanting all of the cats, but Fiesta choose me and that was it. To this day we are inseparable. I saved her from being put down and she saved me from my demons of depression and anxiety. Cats are true healers, and to this day I know my grandma's spirit is in my baby, so I know Im going to be ok. So yes cats are a great gift from our Gods.

My daughter is allergic but we knew it after having adopted two cats. She has a cat allergic treatment and we love them so much ! They were in the street. We are very happy, they are so sweet and funny... except in the car when we go on holidays because we take them with us. But the travel is never too long. 😻😻😻

Lost my cat of 10 years 3 weeks ago to kidney disease. My wife and I Will be adopting two cats from a shelter in June. Our house just feels cold and empty without the sounds of a cat around 🐈

This just reminds me of my cat, which we had to put down because she was diagnosed with cancer, that spread through her whole body. We took her out of the shelter when she was already 12 years old. She was kind to children and adults but didn't like other animals etc. Especially I think that I had a bond with her. When I was sick, she would always lie next to me, cuddle with me, let me pet her. She always went to sleep with me together. She was like my one and only best friend, that I could've ever imagined having. But even tho it was very sad, to let her go to heaven, I am sure, that she is up there, playing and cuddling with her family, just like she did with me.
Cats are the most beautiful "things" in Life.

It's a lot of responsibility. A cat can live up to 20 years, and will need your attention and care each and every day, whether you want to or not. I know, I have two. I love them very much, but there are drawbacks too. When you adopt animals, it's a bit like having small children. It costs money and you lose a bit of your freedom. They also produce a lot of fur, increasing the cleaning time of the house. They can also destroy some furniture. Then you might also have to deal with allergies. You need to consider this seriously before adopting. I accepted all this before I went to the shelter. Your mom probably didn't, which is not totally unreasonable. At worst, you'll be able to adopt when you have your own place, like I did. Patience.
greenkarmic well I'm lazy so I dint have a problem giving an animal attention I mean I love all animals and would want to hangout with them every single day but I understand the responsibilities animals and stuff. thanks anyway c:
give a cat to her for mother's day, she can't say no to a gift, just make sure you look after him/her, they are less work than a dog, but they do need some care.
It's not a great idea to give animals as gifts, just in case the person doesn't really want an animal.
Have two rescues that Watch over my Schoolhouse. They're not very receptive to new members, so two is all I get.

Shouts to the peeps in places that don't allow pets! I've been in a place for 4 years that doesn't allow pets and I can honestly say the struggle is real.
I love cats but the only problem with having a cat is having to feed it other animals. I have one left but that will be the last. If you're going to have a cat, hopefully you get it from a shelter and not someone that's breeding more cats. I have dogs but they can eat vegetarian dog food.

I have always wanted to own a cat, but the rest of my family (who are strictly dog lovers) keep listing off the negative parts of owning one- they scratch, they smell, they shed a lot, they can be nice to you one moment and mean the next, if you have them as outdoor pets they'll kill wildlife and fight with other cats, if you have them as indoor pets it'll go against their natural habits... I can't help wanting to own one, but I can't help worrying about the negative aspects of owning a cat and it'll be a little harder to convince my family... Does anyone have any any suggestions? Or is it a lost cause?
Adopt a rescued kitten (everybody loves a kitten), be nothing but sweet and kind and gentle with it (ie do not use your hands as toys or rough house with it like you would a dog), make it an indoor cat only (provide it with lots of scratching pads and posts, cat trees and toys and play with it often) and you have every good chance of having a wonderful pet that will love everyone and that everyone will love. You could also try teaching it to walk outside on a leash and harness for extra enjoyment and to amaze your neighbours.

Do what YOU want. I have a strictly indoor cat and I wish she would live as long as me.
Cats don't stink, unless you don't clean their litter on a daily basis, of course it's going to smell just like your going to the bathroom and not flush. They are loving, yet independent, clean and does not smell and can be taught manners like any pets if you put in the effort. You have to get to them early before they start developing their own ways just like dogs. If you want them to go outside on the leash, start them young.

I just saw this video and it's made me miss my babycat all over again. She passed away almost a month and a half ago likely due to a combination of cancer and kidney failure.
She was a sweet, smart, and loving little girl and I just can't help but cry at this time.

I have 4 cats. Max, who a lady at work gave me after my beloved FIV rescue cat Boris died. Then I got Eric and Ernie, two kittens from Cat Concern, a rescue charity. My most recent cat acquisition is Merlin, a black kitten found as a stray. Watching them all play and chase each other around is an absolute hoot! I love the funny noises and chirrups they do.

since my lovely old friend died of kidney failure I cannot bring myself to replace her...............for 17 years she ruled the house with an iron paw......she bullied us all into submission..... she moulted everywhere.....she howled, made a mess with her food...........etc etc etc etc...........give anything to get her back !! great video !

My last cat, Chessie, died a year ago, she was 19, and I had her since she was 3 months old. I miss her, but I hope to be a cat Mom again by the end of the year. Preferably two kitties. Chessie was an only cat, and I think we didn't do any favors by not getting her a friend. Yes, she probably enjoyed getting all the attention, but she must have been lonely, especially since I had to leave her alone for hours when I worked nights at Amazon during the last few months of her life. She needed the company during those long nights, and I couldn't give it to her when she probably needed it the most. So, from now on, I want to adopt bonded pairs, if possible. Cats are more fun together.
I'm really happy to be on a cat video for once, whenever I do go and visit one, theres always a commenter saying cats are stupid or they suck, but in this video, I see non, it makes the experience even better, all these cats are sweet hearts, life without them wouldn't be so fun

So true, wevowed after Buburayam died(18.5 years young) we'd never get another cat because of the terrible grief, this went on for a year and then we got adopted by a lovely girl who has brought joy back into our life, she has come from God.

i raise one of my cat when she's still a baby..I found her on the road and i rescue her from get hit by a car..and she never seen and never know her own mother..and now she's seven years old.. beautiful girl..and until now,she still thought that I her own mother..and I can't imagine my life without her..she's my everything..

I retired and came to this m.h. park in 2003. There were about a half dozen kitties roaming around that had become 'dispossessed' and were in need of care and feeding. I took up the chores thinking I would be mostly aloof to bonding with them in any way.....; Wrong. There are now roughly 15 of them as the dynamics of the park change and people shrink from caring for their own and leaving them to wander and hungry for food and attention. The kitties are now a staple part of our own social contacts as their feed back and companionship are beyond what I would have considered possible. Cats depend on us, they've been introduced throughout the entire world due somewhat to our exploitation of their nature. Extraordinary beings, along with dogs, that need someone to stand up and care. Before I retired from the USMC a had a platoon commander that had been a big cat trainer for a Casino in Las Vegas and he admired my 20lb brute of a tomcat. I remember that he asked me how my cat was doing and I said, "fine he's a happy cat but he likes scratching up my big reclining chair." I then theorized that buying a couple of scratching posts could curb that behavior. He said "well, that would just mean that he will use the posts when he isn't using the chair." Then he said, " Dont worry about the chair your cat is entitled to do as he pleases."
I love all my 9 cats and I'm sure the family will grow. yes the mess crap up but the love they give is 1000x more!!

I've given some thought to this Accompanying-One-To-The-Bathroom activity. First, indoor cats are much more likely to do this. Outdoor cats seem to understand you want your privacy. Perhaps because they want it, too. But I do believe they are comforting you-- just as they will cuddle up when you are ill. (Which, by the way, outdoor cats will do, too.)
I say this because I rescued a declawed cat who had never been outside. He's the only cat I've ever had that comes and visits me in the bathroom. But he sits there, so patiently, as if he just wants to comfort and be comforted with the company. It's kind of nice.

Oh so true; well im happy to say that ours came to our lives as a blessing in disguise.. they keep us going and make sure that they are the most important number one in our lives..yup!!! lol.. mine are all from the street except for Yoshi.. who demanded that we are stuck with him for good when he walked right into the house without any fuss or fear.. he knew he found his home though he was a kitten.he is smart.
Cupcake, the tortie, reminds me so much of my kitty that passed away. It's been years, but it still makes me sad because I miss her. I'd love another cat but I don't think I can deal with the eventual loss of a pet again.

I've been catless since Sept. 2015 when my 19+ yr. old orange tabby crossed over. I grieved very long and very hard. Videos like this one really helped get me through. Thank you.
