🇰🇭 How does "PIRANHA" Taste? Kep Crab Market + Sunrise Fishing {Budget Travel Kep, CAMBODIA}

- The seafood couldn't be any fresher at the Kep Crab Market. Especially, the "piranha", which is bird fish that's related to piranha.
Packed with seafood bounties caught that morning and from just offshore, the busy Kep Crab Market is a seaside site for both locals and tourists along Cambodia's Gulf of Thailand shoreline.
Rising before dawn, Matt quietly observes the duties and tasks of rural Cambodian fishermen in the darkness along the shoreline. Once day breaks, the tradition of operating the Kep Crab Market continues. In addition to the bountiful quantity of crabs, many other fish and seafood are on display, sold and cooked on site in an atmosphere constantly abuzz. Tasty treats include shrimp, squid, octopus and clams.
What was also different is the grilled bird fish, a species not native to Cambodia. What does it taste like? Like eating piranha!

Thanks Sue, for the kind words.
The video on Kep NP coming on Tuesday. Actually, in the quiet hostel, I'm editing that footage before stepping out for lunch at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I think I will order....fish.
Thank you for visiting CAMBODIA
Hi Ly. It was my pleasure.
Here is another fun video from Kep, at the National Park, with monkeys. Enjoy and SHARE with your friends.

Hi Will, thanks for your comment.
Yes, I understand why Kep and southern Cambodia are preferred areas of the country. I certainly enjoyed myself there.

Brilliant footage enjoyed this, that bird fish looked a hearty meal!
Hey BIRMZE. The bird fish was fantastic that, while on camera, did not show because it was awkward to eat.
Having a real good time in Cambodia during the first two weeks. Have just awoken to another peaceful morning in this fishing village where the plan is to resume editing in a quiet hostel.
I just might sneak back to the Crab Market for lunch....

Amazing footage! really immerges into the area! Unlike Turks Thai people never drive a hard bargain - they just instigate others to stop selling things to you! )) Enjoy your stay in Thailand!
