Good evening Tod, the driveway looks much, much, better now that you gave it a good scrape. I have the same box blade. I really enjoy using it as well. I use it primarily as a counter weight, to grade my driveway about 5 to 6 times between Spring and Fall, also in the winter for snow removal. Thanks for sharing and take care!
Look 100% better! I've got a Land Pride box blade for my Kubota BX tractor and I just love it. My driveway was nothing more than a mud path when we first got to our place. The spring was just ridicules! Since then I have been adding 5/8 crushed gravel and it had work beautifully. My driveway is practically like cement now. I still lightly grade it in late spring each year but it's quick and easy to do. My guess is that you will need at least 3 tandem loads for you drive. That should give you a good start. Good luck and have fun!
Good morning Tod, Nice job. Grading the driveway is very satisfying. MJA Doing Stuff put out a video, a while back, about using pins to replace the adjustment clips on the scarifiers. I modified his idea. I used a 1/2 inch bolt and welded a washer to the top of it so I could tie a tether to it so I couldn't lose the bolt. It works great and I don't have to use pliers to adjust it. I enjoyed the video, hope you are having a great weekend, Ben
