This cheese is pretty tasty but very processed which turns me off a bit. For a more pure hot cheddar experience, I recommend Cabot Habanero. H-E-B does not carry them (at least in my area) but a lot of other places do. Check it out if you haven't. Cheers!
That's true, this does have the texture of American cheese. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for that habanero cheese! Thanks for the recommendation!!
I saw their habanero cheese on the website but haven't tried it. I'm definitely going to be placing an order with them in the near future and that one is on my list. Thanks for stopping by Flemming!
Gotta say, for the right cheese I'd pay a lot more than $10/lb. $10/lb is, for me, about the same price point for cheese quality as $20-25/bottle is for whiskey. Not gonna blow your socks off, but a good chance you'll have something really enjoyable.

Any cheese wrapped in wax makes me drool
Lol, I'm a sucker for that too. It's that sense of occasion, maybe?
Have you tried Habenero cheese?

I live about a half hour from the Yancy factory it’s in every store
Man, I would love to frolic around in their storeroom for an afternoon. Some of those flavors on the website are wild!
God! I am one jealous man, that cheese is something missing from my life right now! I would totally melt this piece and use it as dipping cheese
It's pretty good dude, especially melted over some chips. I freakin' love cheese.
Got more hot cheeses than you can shake a stick at in the UK, great vid mush
Appreciate it Tom! I could build an entire vacation around hot cheeses, I think... lol.
Your descriptive powers are mighty.
