I thought it was so cool that you don't need a blacklight to see the effects of the UV glow, if you just step into the sunlight the eyeliner starts glowing like crazy it's awesome lol

I can’t believe I only just found out about these. I’ve been in such a make up rut & haven’t been interested in a product for almost a year but this really tickles me. I wish I was better at liner! I love the UV colours. Also, bravo, Cherry bomb and Sea nymph are really unique! Excited to ask these for my graduation party or something :D

Yeah, clean your brushes and use common sense

hi! if i mix my white hydra liner with fanny pack uv liner to get a lighter shade of green, will it still glow under black light?

I bought the uv products. Followed your tutorial and when i turned on the blacklight. Nada. They didnt show up. So i have no idea where i went wrong if i only used water 😭 if you use any other brush ...would that be the problem?
Hey Ana! Which UV shades do you have? The product will show up UV even without activating it with water. If you shine your blacklight at the Hydra FX in the pot, you'll see it glow!
I should of looked for this before I used mine. Hope I didn’t ruin it. I sprayed setting spray into it when I used it 😭
Don't worry! It's not ruined. A couple times is ok, but spraying into the pot overtime might make it "gummier." Just make sure you leave the lid off in a sanitary area to let the excess moisture evaporate!

Dance party always crumbles once it dries what can I do to keep it from doing that?
Hey there! great question. Cracking and crumbling is usually a result of layering the application after it has dried/semi-dried. The key is to get a creamy, opaque consistency first before applying. If you mix correctly to get the right consistency first, won't have to layer the application.

Do they last for a long time? How do you do if you get to sweat or if your eye tears?
The Hydra Liners/FX are complete smudge proof once dry! They are not waterproof, so we don't recommend applying them near the waterline or around teary areas. They also hold up very well with mild sweating!
Will the product still be black light activated if you mix hydroliner with hydroeffects?
If you mix UV reactive shades with other non-UV reactive shades, your new mixture will also be UV reactive too! But the "strength" of the glow will depend on how much of the UV shade you used :)
Are these safe to use in the waterline? I want them all
Beka no, they are water activated lol. It wouldn’t be the greatest to put on your waterline, they’d probably bleed into your eye
do these work best over an eye base?
Hey! The Hydra Liners/FX do not require any base :) They are ultra pigmented when you achieve the right consistency!
Since not all the FX are UV reactive, what is the difference between the FX and the liner?
in the USA, "FX" are considered for face and body are, whereas "Liners" are considered for eye, face and body art. But both are considered eye, face and body in Canada and EU 💕
i got the HydraFX i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong with this product but it doesn’t work on me at all. doesn’t show up on my darkskin eyelids, only in a watery consistency and no pigment at all.
Hey there! The key is to mix the product with a wet makeup brush until the formula is smooth and creamy. Don't be afraid to mix the product well so you get a nice single swipe application :)

Why shouldn't one use mixing mediums? My eyes are really, I usually use mixing mediums that turn eyeshadows into waterproof liners. It would be great if you would create a similar products that is compatible with the hydra liners so us leaky suckers could enjoy them aswell :')
You can definitely experiment with other mixing mediums! But DO NOT experiment directly in the pot. Over time, this may cause the original formula to change. Always scrape out the product onto a palette before activating with an agent other than water.
