I like to do what is shown in this video, and if i want an even more dramatic look, i add more of the dark shades to make the outer wing triangle bigger, by extending the triangle inward and upward. My complexion & lack of serious wrinkles has stayed pretty much the same for many years, but I've been having such trouble with the Eyeliner & Wings on the outer lids! I also have hooded eyes and this technique was VERY helpful, but honestly, if you don't want your eyeshadow to crease you shouldn't use concealer! Concealer is meant to be used under the eyes and it has oils and moisturizers in it since the undereye skin is so dry and thin, and the oils in the makeup will cause the eyeshadow to crease! Use an eyeshadow primer and that'll prevent any creasing, especially in hooded eyes.

    I have watched a few makeup tutorials and yours is by far the best , many of them use so many products, that 1. I just couldn't deal with that many layers on my skin , and 2. Often no actual explanation of anything they are actually doing or why , they tend to point to the product and use it , many also fail to mention any products or skin prep beforehand. Will definitely be giving this a try. At 50 I often avoid shadow because of the hood .

    The concealer from eyebrow to eyelash is a great trick that I haven’t tried. I tend to use MAC paint pot in soft ochre but I am not careful to really cover the entire space as one and then set it. I’ll give that a try.

    This is really nice! I think the key here are the brushes. I’m far from a makeup guru and have whatever brushes come in a standard set. I always have a hard time getting a smoking eye without making it look muddy. I will give this a try with the suggested products. Thank you for the tutorial!

      Hi, did you catch it, when she said,... so I'm just going to use a dry brush..., when she applied the glitter? what did she mean, do you think? Dry as opposed to... what? Wet? Water??? I am confusion! 😅 Help me out, if you can, please :)

      Instead of concealer you can also try to use a nude eyeshadow to clean up xx

    • @UniversalDust
      @UniversalDust 3 года назад +5

      You can also use a make up remover wipe but make sure you have a steady hand and long nails to make a single line clean swipe and then you can use concealer. That way it's only a single layer
