Justine meredith she also yo-yos on her health insanely. Constantly either binging or on some ineffective crash diet. Which is weird to me because she hires a trainer and any reputable trainer would tell her those diets are BS

Eh, none of them is in the right to be honest. Ethan calling girls twinkies and manatees and trying to say he is doing it in the name of body positivity just seems like a cheap excuse to get a free pass about moking how girls look.
@@at5203 Yeah honestly him being mean to the women's true appearance kinda negated his message. I guess he was trying to be funny but wrong place wrong time.
@@at5203 does it though? because it seems more like exposing the fakeness to me. posed up pretty girls with filters pretending they are perfect all the time is alot worse then calling out a lie.
Not to mention a manipulative bully. Check out iNabbers recent videos on her ghosting & then gaslighting if Nicado Avacado; I’m not a fan of NA either but how she has treated him is disgusting, & she’s apparently done similar to others for years.
I agree with Anthony Padilla's point. I can see where Trish is coming from, but she (as usual) went too hard too fast and will be shocked by the fallout.
Yes. I totally agree with anthony but then trisha had to take it too far by draggjng hila. Like dude. You destroy your argument even before we can even have a conversation.
Ethan's whole premise was we're all ugly. All the dudes featured in his vid have acne and stuff and he gets upset because "We all have acne!" He calls them mean names because he calls everyone Earth mean names as an equalizing technique: "You're just as ugly as the rest of us, and pretending is just harmful to the self-esteem of others." The entire point is amazing.
@@Restokiki Let's say there exists of 2 individuals, A and B. A is a gamer. B is an instagram model. If you call A 'ugly', A will not give a shit. Why would they? If you call B 'ugly', it will hurt a lot more, as their career relies on their beauty. Granted, insults should generally be ignored, as individuals who do not support your passion aren't even worth caring about. However, my point here is that, sure, you can call everybody ugly. But remember that, regardless of context, it is an insult. And to certain people, this insult may hurt more to one individual than it will to others. I think it is important to understand this, that people have different emotional responses to certain words, because it is a reminder that we all perceive things differently. Also, just to clarify, I'm only on Padilla's side. I think h3h3 and Paytas are both acting like children.
Shes a surgery/opioid addict that uses her fame and fortune to manipulate young fans and feed the world half-truths and bold lies....She is a cancer and I, and all of you, should care less if her channel dies and she becomes irrelevant....
I totally mesh with Ethan's message, and I definitely get shaming Instagram models for the harmful effects of photoshopping to such an unrealistic extent and touting it as authentic, but I do agree with Anthony's tweet about the video- the name calling feels a bit counter-productive to the point he's trying to make, since bashing how a lot of them really look kind of reinforces a lot of the reasons that they would turn to Photoshop in the first place. Definitely doesn't justify Trisha's response though; way out-of-line to come after his wife for a video that Ethan made.
@@somedudewithoutamustache no, the real piece of shit is trasha for attempting to get hila to divorce him as if since she is a woman, hila would just automatically comply (meaning trisha underestimated hila's capacity to think for herself, not to mention trying to split apart a happily married couple that's expecting to have a child is leagues shittier than what ethan said, which was mild).
No one takes into account that if these models just posted natural photos of themselves with confidence he would have never said those things about them. The thing is, these models are ruining lives doing what they're doing. Everyone is talking about the insecurities of the model, but no one talks about the insecurities their fake ass modeling causes young women to grow up with. Get real, these fake ass manatees deserve to be called out for taking advantage of and monetizing teenage insecurity, and you're all letting them play victim. Sickening really.
I think that’s the reality of the situation It’s not okay to namecall people or make jokes on the sake of other people especially if they haven’t done anything wrong. It’s okay to give constructive criticism but I wouldn’t go that far just to make a point. It’s true though, it’s better to just assume we’re all ugly and that’s okay! We need to accept that but we also need to acknowledge that people have feelings too.
@@DocRoc94 Yeah, but you have to also realize that these "models" were once insecure teens as well. And while they have gained an immense following, it also comes with the constant barrage of comments on the daily poking at every one of their insecurities. The models don't throw on a ton of makeup just to look good but to try to avoid people posting those negative comments that can still hurt as in many cases it is a long-standing insecurity. Everyone already knows that people edit photos massively on social media. Calling these semi-celebrities manatees just came off as bullying one group to make another briefly feel better about themselves. I like Ethan, and I know he had good intentions and was trying to add humor, but blatantly poking fun at these people's insecurities to his millions of fans just seems like poor judgment.
The way I see it is if you're going to make a living based off your appearance be prepared to be criticized based on your appearance especially if the image you've been selling is a lie.
I feel like the comparison is to athletes. You put yourself out there for positive gain by being a tremendously gifted person, then don't be surprised when people go after the athletes who use steroids to get where they're at.
But also insulting average bodies, is also damaging. I found myself not laughing with Ethan but instead felt like I was being made fun of for having a similar body to Tana's. Hiding behind the phrase "I'm not shaming" but proceed to compare everyone to animals to his impressionable audience. Like he's telling teenagers and early 20s people that having fat, and being average means it's gross. Like if he made actual jokes instead of just straight insulting them it would be funny
janaye kc well the overall message of the video is everyone is ugly. If you take to that philosophy then you see the world in a different light and that’s the real message. We need to stop pretending we are untouchable gods/goddesses and embrace our ugliness
yeah but a lot of those young girls look like those natural pictures that he said looked like manatees and twinkies so if anything he’s just pushing a message that ‘your natural body is disgusting and ugly, just like these people! but these people are regarded as attractive by most people because of their use of facetune and photoshop, so that could work for you too!’
janaye kc agree my body is exactly like tanas it felt more like the reason these girls are also photoshopping because they feel bad about themselves and shaming them more isn’t gonna help and it wasn’t funny however editing your photos when you have such a heavy following of young impressionable boys and girls gives them the wrong ideas and standards of beauty
Honestly, I agree with Ethan. He was saying its okay to be a "manatee." We are all manatees in one way shape or form and thats ok. As a teenage girl with acne, its way more damaging to see all these perfect acne-less people than hearing someone call someone else pizza face or something for having acne. And I assume its the same with people insecurities about weight. Instagram is too perfect, that's why I only use Snapchat. In my opinion "Everyone's ugly" is way more inspirational than the cheesy "Everyone's perfect." Also if Trisha is always hurt. Come on, you're an adult. Actually deal with your insecurities instead of faking that they don't exist. You cant start crying every time someone mentions weight. Eventually people stop caring. No one likes someone that you have to walk on eggshells around.
Some people don’t want to be called manatees, is not our place to label them. Our insecurities are OURS and we shouldn’t grab on to others to push ourselves up. If Trisha wants to do or not do something in her life or instagram that’s not my problem and neither should be anyone else’s. As a teenager you shouldn’t talk about how adults should behave or react, and at the end you contradict yourself so.. ??
Yeah, but you have to realize these internet personalities probably harbor lots of insecurities themselves, which is why they try to mask them on social media. Sure you might feel better but H3H3 effectively just sent his entire following out with the association between semi-celebrities who get ragged on daily for their looks with looking like manatees. It's akin to (albeit much tamer) stabbing a model to show that they are also made of blood. Your statement saying that Trisha shouldn't care b/c she is "an adult" really shows your age. The insecurities people felt as teens often carry out into adulthood, especially when you have millions of eyes on you critiquing your every move. I'm glad you felt better, but you fail to empathize with the people he ragged on b/c they are "adults" and *celebrities*. Yet you dismiss that they also are going through some of the same problems as yourself and others (only to a much higher degree). You have to realize that getting fame and growing in age doesn't just magically destroy your insecurities, and in many cases can have the opposite effect.

I'm old(ish) and although I think this world is positively full of wonderful, intelligent and forward thinking people it's perplexing that we also worship people like the Instagram "model". The internet is definitely almost at the end of its "wild west" phase, where anything goes and it's, of course, money that rules now~not the free exchange of ideas as was intended.
trisha has no room to act morally superior when she promotes all over her instagram and youtube scams and diets that don’t work and promote a very unhealthy life style. ethan might have been harsh but that harshness came from a fact we need to hear about instagram it’s all fake.

I think what’s more disgusting about the first story is that Trisha felt the need to bring Hila into this, tell her how to raise their child and even suggest divorce? Trisha is doing more damage to young women, more than that video ever will. Influencers want to exempt themselves from the responsibilities of being an influencer, literally as the name suggests they influence people, how they present themselves will influence how their followers see themselves. Many look up to influencers and want to be seen as they are, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trisha has been somebodies inspiration for getting a boob job. If Trisha thinks her promoting plastic surgery, and photoshop etc is empowering to young women, then as a young woman I have to say she’s doing the opposite, at least for me. Personally I have no problem with either, not for me but I wouldn’t stop others from doing it, however an acknowledgement needs to be affirmed in the minds of consumers/fans etc that this is all FAKE, and just because you’re open about photoshop and plastic surgery doesn’t make it acceptable that influencers want to depict the two as being the “standard”, and that people will call you out for these things. Especially if you’re the type to claim all the fakery to be real. What’s more empowering to me, are the women challenging this “standard”, those women are doing more for young women, not these superficial influencers.
It is my opinion that we should pass a bill requiring social media to either declare themselves as platforms or publishers, a publisher being able to have full control of who they ban but responsibility for what is posted, a platform not having responsibility for posted materials but must welcome free speech.
Ok, but then Facebook just calls itself a platform and live-streaming church shootings and terrorist manifestos, or facilitating propaganda and mob violence in places like Myanmar or India is ok now? Kind of seems like giving them an out.
Edward Lorn Uh huh, and people go to those shows and expect that, right? I don’t think Trish was expecting a video like that to be made about her. Lol just cause she puts herself out there doesn’t make it right for someone to bring her down whilst trying to make most “normal” woman feel better about themselves.
Fat shaming in 2019 tho? Didn't it just went on the other way from his point on the video? And none of the fat shaming jokes were even close to be funny.
Of course people are outraged. Ethan just bullied a bunch of innocent people while hiding under the “they’re just as bad/worse” excuse. What made Ethan turn into such a massive dickhole all of a sudden?
that was the point i think... Ethan has many years of youtube to know that it would happen, the thing is that you can't actually contradict him, he's right and everyone see it
I don’t have a problem with H3 outing these instagram “models”, they’re selling a false unobtainable image of themselves that can greatly affect their impressionable audience
Yeah but Trisha Paytas is not one of them. She constantly shows herself with no makeup and all that shit. All of those pics he pulled are pics or videos that she herself posted. He should have done more research on who he was talking about, she wasn't a good example
I feel the same, BUT he didn’t have to insult everyone’s natural body/face. That doesn’t make me feel any better about my perception of my body. If anything he’s kinda ruining his own point by insulting someone’s natural looks. And then people wonder why others have severe body dysmorphia 😒😒

i agree so much that instagram editing and stuff is damaging and that no one is perfect but making fun of people's natural looks (even then u say that we're all ugly) only makes me feel as though you're pushing them to keep doing it. rather than beating down someone's self esteem to make them go natural, try raising it.
Then he proceeds to pull his shirt up, stick out this gut, and stand at a horrible angle xD I think people are starting to care about their looks way more than they should.
"you're healthy at any size" is a lie, and you're not special. we all have things u could apply that would sound negative. making fun of yourself is the first step to owning those comments and laughing at them. it makes your life better than having to crawl into a ball whenever someone call you horrible stuff like ... "twinkie" aaaaaaaaaah
@@LetsGoGetThem Nobody's arguing for the "you're healthy at any size" bollocks. There's a very clear difference between telling an obese person that their obesity isn't healthy and telling someone that they look like a twinkie for being slightly bigger than in their edited picture. Do Instagram models promote unrealistic body expectations? In my opinion, they do. Should we abandon human decency and shame their natural bodies? No, the appropriate and mature response would be to call out the fact that they deceive people on purpose, but taking jabs at their natural looks achieves nothing and just delegitimises the message you're trying to send.

He didn’t need to call them those names to prove his point, but Trisha being plastic & promoting herself as if that’s what’s right is more damaging than Ethan TBH
I think Trisha's reaction shows that the dichotomy between the IG & INR is also extremely harmful to those portrayed. Definitely a mental health issue for those portrayed too.
Dang. I agree with Anthony. Facetune and body/face editing is harmful but calling them hateful comments just feeds into their insecurities which I would assume would make people want to edit their photos.
Heather P. I mean it’s intended to be funny for his viewers, but comedy is subjective so of course people will think they’re too mean, but I think the people he was being mean to were people that he thinks are damaging to young impressionable lives and therefore deserve some roasting.
I completely agree! Yes editing is intentional distortion but at the same time, they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If they don’t try to look perfect, they’re slammed for being ugly, fat, etc. Further, obviously Trisha isn’t a perfect person and I don’t think anyone is claiming she is BUT, she’s very upfront about how she transforms herself with makeup, angles, etc and probably hides her “natural” self less than most people. SO, of all people, I would presume she is less harmful to the youth (in relation to photos) than the average person BECAUSE we as a collective generally only post flattering photos of ourselves whereas Trisha actually posts herself at both her best and worst. All this video mostivates her to do is pull back the transparency she gives us, and hide how she looks not made up. I don’t hate H3H3 and have been subscribed to them for years. I think they’re funny and give critical commentary; however, I found that particular video to be sending a message more harmful than what he is criticizing. The idea that someone presenting themselves as “better than they are” is not new, and is what everyone does. Put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel if photos of you running errands in your pjs or upward 3/4 angles of you slouching in a bathing suit was posted everywhere, comparing it to pictures where you looked and felt your best. Followed by people calling you fat and hideous. Ultimately it would hurt your self-image and you’d be further embarrassed about these insecurities. People often forget that celebrities, social media influencers, etc are real people with real insecurities that are only heightened bc they’re viewed under a microscope. This cycle (criticism for lack of perfection -> creating a false image of perfection -> criticism of conjuring a false image of perfection -> transparency of image -> criticism for lack of perfection again) seems unbreakable and I don’t think the public will ever be satisfied. I understand that a young girl (or anyone) can feel comforted in the fact her favorite celebrity or model also has cellulite, BUT the more you mock someone for “actually” having imperfections, the more they will try to hide them. Seems counter productive, toxic, and overall mean-spirited

But laughing at their normal photos, calling them ugly and fat, that's the kind of thing that makes people want to skew reality in the first place. Because they're afraid of being attacked and laughed at. I get that it's what he does, but personally I've never seen how name calling and being mean to people is funny.
Leith Schroeder it’s not that he called em out, it’s more so he personally mocked the same type of people with the same insecurity he is trying to reach out to kinda muddies an arguement saying “you’re an ugly whale stop hiding it” to people who are insecure about their looks, _like the audience he’s speaking to_ I’m saying this as a fan of Ethan btw, to me their both in the wrong a little bit but _yknow_

Leith Schroeder him calling her fat and making fun of her weight, kinda misses the point. That’s exactly why people change their photos and use apps. He can go fuck himself
"government intervention" is a nice way to disguise the regulation of free speech by the government. I understand where that guy is coming from in terms of guidlines but the threat of what that power/control could be used for in the future is too great.
Its negative reinforcement but I guarantee every woman (which I assume the largest part of the hateful demographic) and man that comment snipe his wife are jealous or envious of who she is and what position she holds. They're both shitty. The only person I agreed with was Anthony Padilla. You defeat your whole point about body image when you say the "natural" picture of someone looks like a manatee. There's a difference between him mocking his own appearance and name-calling specific women who he has chosen to highlight and target in a video.
@@HeyLetsDoAThing That's my view on it. You don't have to do something shitty to point out something shitty. There are plenty of people that have called out the same issues without being assholes.
I got the comedy. I started laughing even harder when he said we are all pathetic monsters. Instagram (media)is warping, especially to (some) young girls (even some older women). I'm not 100% knocking the art of Photoshop but yeah once in awhile show your "true form" So girls can see- Oh ok she is normal just like me. I will say the guy could have toned it down with the insults because words do hurt for some. The words (hurt/negativity) can actually alter your brain in a bad way.
Ethan _may_ have gone a bit far with the manatee remark, but, the open casket jab made me LMAO! Trisha, and *A LOT* of other iG personalities need to check themselves.
5:29 Was it wrong? No, Ethan is well within his rights to make jokes and the video was very on brand with his normal humour. That being said, it most definitely damaged the point he was trying to make. Telling people to love themselves while also saying how bad these people look without Photoshop really doesn't work imo.
ethan’s intention was great, it should have been a good video, but bashing and body shaming the natural pictures just serves as motivation to facetune and photoshop MORE because he’s just confirming their insecurities
This was my thinking. No need to insult people for their non Instagram perfect photos if your goal is to have people be more "real". Even for comedic purposes because it just reinforces the motives for perfection in the first place.
No one would be 'bashing' them if they hadn't set up an insane standard to be benchmarked against. If you want to present yourself as amazing looking expect people to judge your worst photos more harshly. You don't hear anyone making fun of Susan Boyle because she doesn't pretend to look any different to what she is.
why not owning the comments? i dont see the point of being so high and mighty about this "shaming" kind of thing, to me pushing "health at any size", turtle shell mentality (if someone calls you fat your day is ruined) and fake diet products. Everyone get's goofed on, usually it's your looks, if you hate it then dish it back.
Bit of a difference between saying they look fat to laughing about them looking like a manatee or a twinky (sp?). I agree he's kind of hurting his own message, which is a shame because the message was a good one.
I think the h3h3 video had a good message, but the roasting segment kinda hurt that message. Video was funny as hell though! "Coachella vs. Open casket" Goddamn Ethan!
I agree with Anthony Padilla. Telling girls they shouldn't photoshop, but in the same breath calling them disgusting completely negates Ethan's helpful message. I think he's smarter than those easy "ugly" jokes. I'm disappointed that he went for low-hanging fruit instead of more cerebral comedy that didn't undermine his argument.
Julia Lanzillotta there’s still a huge issue if she’s using photoshop and face filters to completely alter what she looks like. Like, what is the point to completely change who you are?
I've been watching philly d for around 5 years now and i must say. I have near to never found fault in his impartiality and character. Thank you Phil for being the best news source out there
He makes an important point, and calling out these creators for feeding into this culture of edited body images is a fair point. I will say that, I think H3H3's name calling hurt his point. Also targeting specific people and name calling them feeds into a whole different but related issue. But that does not detract from the actual argument of his point, simply the execution.
- his message is were all manatees that want to shove fast food into our bodies. Having a like/upvote metric shows people what is most socially desirable. So pushing false beauty as your brand warps the minds of those trying to understand the world around them and can have very negative self-hatred issues as a result.
conor maloney but how does calling them names help? Just becoz he’s comfortable with his body doesn’t mean everyone is,maybe show them there’s nothing wrong with how they look naturally and they’d be willing to share more natural stuff?
I feel the same. His message is great...but the degraded name call..no. He could have easily pointed out the differences without and just gave his last message at the end.
I'm not usually one to defend H3 too much but I find myself gravitating towards their side of this. Like Ethan said, the point of the video was not only to call out a toxic culture that makes people feel horrible about their body image and self-perception, but also to be comedic about this. I find that Ethan was inviting his audience to laugh with him about their own imperfections and many times over he brings his own imperfections into light. Had the message been delivered in a serious tone, the name-calling would be been hurtful. But laughing at your own faults can provide you with a sense of pathos and you no longer feel like you take it seriously.
I like his videos but this one is just a no. I like his idea but how he went with it was not ok. It’s fine you want people to accept how they look but you should not call them names. Some people don’t like how they look which is why they do photoshop sadly.
The "Instagram vs Reality" thing has been a trend for a while now. It's been covered by female beauty guru esque youtubers, who are much more gentle in the way they talk about it. However, H3 doesn't do serious content like that, and it's silly to expect them to

Cleaning out your system is not a bad thing as long as you also have a healthy diet and eat properly I do t see a problem promoting a tea... js

Yes. I totally agree with anthony but then trisha had to take it too far by draggjng hila. Like dude. You destroy your argument even before we can even have a conversation.
She enjoys watching videos of people making fun of fat people. (or at least she did for Nikado Avocado.) So her words don't sync with her actions.~
I completely agree. I just wish bad body image lead people to improve themselves, like eat healthy and work out, not to photoshop themselves.
It's funny tho
Ethan is a piece of shit for going too far.

The names were his downfall. Calling someone a manatee is never a good way to prove a point.
That said, h3h3 was right in the point of his video.
hey, manatee's are adorable, they're a great way to prove a point.
I think that’s the reality of the situation
It’s not okay to namecall people or make jokes on the sake of other people especially if they haven’t done anything wrong.
It’s because he made weight jokes. You go for a woman’s weight and everyone loses their minds.
Did you use a highly photoshopped photo of Anthony on purpose? Because it's hilarious in juxtaposition with what he wrote
Pretty sure ridiculously photoshopped is the only type of photo he posts
The way I see it is if you're going to make a living based off your appearance be prepared to be criticized based on your appearance especially if the image you've been selling is a lie.
I feel like the comparison is to athletes. You put yourself out there for positive gain by being a tremendously gifted person, then don't be surprised when people go after the athletes who use steroids to get where they're at.
The photoshopping is incredibly damaging to young girls, they need to be called out
But also insulting average bodies, is also damaging.
VIRTUAL REALMS I mean it is twisted. But then again. They’re kids. Kids blow shit way out of proportion.
In my opinion "Everyone's ugly" is way more inspirational than the cheesy "Everyone's perfect."
Also if Trisha is always hurt. Come on, you're an adult. Actually deal with your insecurities instead of faking that they don't exist. You cant start crying every time someone mentions weight. Eventually people stop caring. No one likes someone that you have to walk on eggshells around.
Just awesome. If you're going to be fake...own it. Be honest. Otherwise share reality.
I'd definitely say I was a mental manatee.. doofy and lazy

No, the appropriate and mature response would be to call out the fact that they deceive people on purpose, but taking jabs at their natural looks achieves nothing and just delegitimises the message you're trying to send.
but if you watch trishas videos when she has glam on she does actually look like that... but i dont necessarily think shes promoting unrealistic images as she regularly posts with no makeup and posts comparisons before and after on her own instagram.
@@thedoctor1346 It achieves me laughing which is good enough for me, it's ribbing or goofing on someone's appearance which fits in a comedic video. What's worse? Being called a twinkie or wanting a marriage to be broken because someone had the gall to call you a twinkie? The shell you put over your head is deceptive, it isn't shielding you from anything, if anything it's making it harder to deal with any comment about you. People are waaayy to high and mighty about their appearance anyways.

I just don't get why she's so triggered by the video though, like post a photoshopped pic of yourself while also posting pics of yourself haggard af, it's like being so emotionally attached to your persona on the internet and how people perceive you because of it. l mean what'd she expect from posting shitty pics of herself?

@@evanfinke6265 I understand where you're coming from.
It's a skit/comedy. Don't take it too seriously......Don't be a snowflake.

Comparison is the theif of joy.
Dragging others shouldn’t be the way you feel better about yourself
If you feel awful about your own skin why would you be okay with others who clearly arnt happy with themselves being attacked for the same and other body issues
@@mummabearsmith3737 The point is that you're not attacking the body issues you're attacking the lies. If these people didn't photoshop their bodies so much to obscurity for the sake of followers, influence (and a bad influence at that) I'm pretty damn sure Ethan wouldn't have a problem with people being overweight. For example Boogie, doing something positive, self care. It's just a shit show of lies and even if it's controvertial and Ethan gets shit for it, at least he's doing more things for people like Ernest above rather than making young people feel the need to superficially change their image, rather than work hard at it and improve themselves or hey, maybe not give a shit so much about what you look like.
NVM if its attacking the lies then it would be left at just attacking their fake imagine not dragging their natural body that contradicts the msg he claims he was trying to achieve then changing his point form trying to help people to. Comedy ! How in the world is calling someone’s natural body harmful negative names helping people to feel they don’t need to superficially change their image? It’s the exact reason people do it in the first place. As for maybe not give a shit about how I look. Both the eating disorder and the body dysmorphia disorder are mental health issues

Totally agree with Ethan, the constant skewing of reality on social media is far more harmful than calling out the people that are doing it
But laughing at their normal photos, calling them ugly and fat, that's the kind of thing that makes people want to skew reality in the first place. Because they're afraid of being attacked and laughed at. I get that it's what he does, but personally I've never seen how name calling and being mean to people is funny.
Leith Schroeder it’s not that he called em out, it’s more so he personally mocked the same type of people with the same insecurity he is trying to reach out to
kinda muddies an arguement saying “you’re an ugly whale stop hiding it” to people who are insecure about their looks, _like the audience he’s speaking to_
I’m saying this as a fan of Ethan btw, to me their both in the wrong a little bit but _yknow_

They're both shitty. The only person I agreed with was Anthony Padilla. You defeat your whole point about body image when you say the "natural" picture of someone looks like a manatee. There's a difference between him mocking his own appearance and name-calling specific women who he has chosen to highlight and target in a video.
@@HeyLetsDoAThing *Were all shitty

Part of his point was that everybody is ugly and that's okay.
Nice cherry picking to pervert his point :)
@@thefirsttime7759 was he though...? 😁
ethan’s intention was great, it should have been a good video, but bashing and body shaming the natural pictures just serves as motivation to facetune and photoshop MORE because he’s just confirming their insecurities
This was my thinking. No need to insult people for their non Instagram perfect photos if your goal is to have people be more "real". Even for comedic purposes because it just reinforces the motives for perfection in the first place.
His point was that no one is perfect. And yeah, someone who has gotten multiple surgeries on their face is going to look pretty bad without makeup. 🤔

I agree with Anthony padilla on the Ethan issue. The message is good but how he came at the unedited photos is counter intuitive.

The "Instagram vs Reality" thing has been a trend for a while now. It's been covered by female beauty guru esque youtubers, who are much more gentle in the way they talk about it. However, H3 doesn't do serious content like that, and it's silly to expect them to
