The dresser that you got, isn't a dresser. It's a buffet from a dining room set, that someone has painted and added tiles to the top. It would have had a mirror in the top piece. It's about 100 - 125 years old. It's really beautiful. They did a great job repurposing it!!

When i turned 40 I made myself do something that scares me at least once a year. Most of the things i was scared of were things i was worried about what others think. It just opened up a new world for me. I’m 49 & living my best life.
This remembered me on my own childhood. In our small village which i lived in, two times a year there was a massive bulk thrashout for all households. The streets were full of all kinds of stuff like antiques, bikes, radios etc. There were so much people digging back then. It was like a massive party.

The other dresser can br fixed It is falling apart but someone will fix it up. It could be cleaned with Clorox and sanded. Glass knobs I would have taken it. After it’s sanded Murphy soap to put a shine on it. I love ❤️ finding neglected antique furniture and fixing them up. ❤

I wish I had the interest then and did more with him but my mind was raising kids and fighting undoubtly fake relationships. Hi, I don’t know if anybody ever told you when you have wooden stick and drawers. You can use a hand bar soap and slide it under the drawers and it helps us make it easier to slide. .

Pretty awesome 1890-ish sideboard. Too bad someone painted it. it would have had a stone top too originally. A little sandpaper to the drawers and some wax and she's ready to roll for another 130 years.

hey, good picks......rub some candle wax along the underside of where the draws go into the cupboard and the draw will glide in and out really easy. From and Aussie into furniture.

The pair of chairs I would have cleaned them with some foam spray and sold them for 200 buckos they were nice, but you know more than I do on the sales of your finds

A lil FYI When ur setting fence post all you do is put the cement right in the hole with post and add water then check the post is leveled with a level and let it set. No more mix cement in separate container and then pour in hole

I grew up in O.C. and it looks NOTHING like when I was a kid! They are tearing down all the beautiful old homes to put up all those McMansions and condos. It is so sad! Same with Ventnor 😢
luv the blue dresser ... of the drawers are a little stubborn, rub some candle/wax along the under runners they will slide easier, also age probably 1930's
At the same place you picked up the blue dresser there was a wooden unit.. which looked like the style of "Mid Century Modern" which is pretty sought after usually with the Trendies ... also here in Aussie, goes for around/above $400 anyway check it out online.... cheers...

It's ashame you didn't take that painted Victorian dresser & mirror. They definitely would have sold. I rub candles or a bar of soap on the bottom edges & the drawers will slide in & out better.

The divers vest, which is also called the buoyancy vest most divers won’t get rid of them. Did you fill it with air and press it underwater to see if it leaked that’s why most divers would get rid of it if they needed to upgrade.
