I am using my JVC svhs vcr, plays out to a composite->hdmi converter box. I have like a 40ish dollar one from Amazon I used for eps until now. Starting with this ep 8 I tried out my Retrotink 2X line doubler which I had for vintage computer projects. It seems better since it can reproduce the color range better I think. Anyway. That HDMI goes into an EVGA XR1 Lite capture box. That runs into my laptop where I use OBS Studio to record the footage to mp4. www.retrotink.com/product-page/retrotink-2x-pro www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09D8VYLY7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 (what i used to set up OBS to record these VHS recordings) timfordphoto.com/digitizing-vhs-tapes-using-obs/
I am curious what you use to digitize these tapes (I assume they're tapes) I have a bunch of old VHSes I'd love to preserve for Nostalgia sake.
