Hey pal .. Just watching you video . And wanted to say what a cracking idea for your poncho shelter, using long branches like that to form a shelter 👍 Awesome
Good skills Dez, looks a nice area to camp out. Extra tarp is called being prepared, always better to be comfortable, sitting in the rain is no fun at all..👍🏻😁🏴
I went camping by the Indian Ocean over the weekend just gone, and seeing you using branches and leaves to sweep your site clean is something I've never seen before. I will remember that trick for next time as its saves kicking the site clear.
Hey Des, that's a pretty handy set up you got there with the belt rig and the backpack being modular. Does the belt serve as scouting pack if you go away from camp? Is it Helikon gear? Nice trick with the sticks too, gotta give that a go.
At the risk of being called an IDIOT for asking a question. 🤦♂🤷♂😁 I would like to know what kind of Bands do you have on that Catapult, bought ones off the shelf or homemade from old inner tube? I ask because I am making my own wooden one and have plenty of old rubber car inner tubes, but not sure if it'll be any match for the silicone bands I can purchase. That Poncho is an interesting setup, almost an Umbrella, TBH, I prefer it when you're out on your own, I don't have to listen to the old ladies cackle in the background. 😜
Awesome poncho shelter
Thank you 👍
The silence sounded good! Good stuff.
wow ok… sticks as cross braces for a poncho shelter! brilliant.
Thank you Dominic

Guess what I'll be trying this weekend up the wrekin Dez😉 corker of an idea using the branches under the poncho 👏

Thanks Dave
Yes the belt pack is for the lightweight scout option 👍
Yes it's from helikon tex
Thanks buddy
Apologies for the delay
Muito bom, parabéns pelo vídeo. Sua mochila alice pack é tamanho médio? Tenho dificuldades em colocar tudo que preciso na mochila.
Thank you...
It's the Matilda pack by helikon Tex 👍
Ironic that of all the task he undertakes, Des has the most trouble removing the cap from his beer.
