thanks for the video...but the Mavic Air 2 does not have upward obstacle sensing...isn't that an issue for using it in a forest with tress/in such compact space?
just one curious question.. can the FPV headgear(I'm confused wht it's real name is) and this tracking feature be used together to make a real life third person perspective of ourselves???
Does your controller continuously beep while doing these tests because the drone sensors are within 10 feet of obstacles? Mine will not stop beeping when it is in situations like you are showing.
The only downside is obstacle. Avoidance is great until the day you forget that there's no sensors on the side and you hit the one tree that you couldn't see. But yeah outside of that the drone functions great. Actually. Just waiting now to see what the process is. Like to send it to DJI and have them fix the component since it's still under warranty.

Watching this after my first flight test day with this drone. Couldn't get the green square thing sorted out. When i turned on this mode, there were other vehicles on the streets moving (me on skateboard), and boxes formed around several objects. Going on tomorrow to try again. This video amazed me at how great the capabilities are on this drone.
You can drag and form a box around anything you want, there are green boxes around cars because the drone detects them, but you don't have to choose then
@@DronesGator That's where i was having trouble. When there several objects being detected bybthe green boxes... how do you select the one you want? Do the others disappear when successfully selecting the one you want? Thanks.
@@DronesGator First morning report: Had my first damaging crash just now trying to use active track. I went into a dark area and drone lost me. When it did... it just flew into the opposite direction into a building. Broke propellers. My own fault for experimenting so near objects. Heeaded out to try this again with new propellers now.

Yes, you click on the one you want and it will select it (the others will disappear
