Cinema 4d GPU renderer, for free? hell yeah!
I go over what it supports, what it doesn't support. Haven't really done any serious stress tests, but i think it's a great tool to get your feet wet. And also check out what gpu rendering can do for your projects.

I tried this they are more stable than paid renderer like Redshift, although lacks of features but good enough for so many projects in my mind👍👍
Once the material converter handles c4d native materials, itll have the potential to be a formidable challenger. Nice stuff!

thanks so much for this video. This is a life saver! (ok.. thats a bit exaggerating!! ) but seriously.. this saved my wallet from buying other gpu renderer subscriptions during a crucial 'jobless' time! The redering is super... but didn't render the whole video yet!! hope it works like the ipr too!

there used to be this great c4d render called "thea" but it's gone now. they couldn't get enough users..

you should check their forums, but generally by hand. in other renders it's the same, the have converters, but that are not good :(
alt dragging new materials onto old materials in materials manager, will make thanks go faster though :)

i have Arnold currently but i Feel Arnold is very complex and require a lot of work just to render simple projects
if centileo is more easy and fast in setting up the materials and camera then i'll definitely give it a try
This one seems very straight forward :) but i haven't really stress tested it.

CentiLeo is easier than Arnold and has material structure similar to alSurface material. Although as for GPU it should be a good Nvidia one
This looks promising!!! Hable or AMPAS tonemapping option in VFB and It will be sweet.
No idea what those are :( but the developer is very active in their forums, maybe suggest it :)
Thank you! Going to improve tonemapping tools for CentiLeo. There will probably be several TM methods, potentially with some way of blending between them.
@@ace5 Oh, Filmic tonemapping gives similar results to ACES like Nice falloff, Shadows and Colour without ACES implementation.
Hello. I wanted to ask how I can place a texture that comes preset. I am working on land obtained from a drone. The texture it comes with is made to fit specifically. I haven't been able to get the material centrileo to fit well... Any suggestions, greetings.

@@Ray_Media you have to Decrease the iterations in the settings. 7-5 iterations are enough for small scene. 15-25 iterations are enough for big scene. Sample are referred as iterations in centileo.

i just checked, it works. but you have to make a centileo material, it doesn't convert standard c4d ones: i.imgur.com/lUODQr9.png

yeah.. Mac isn't a great choice for 3d.. it's better now than it was before.. but still.. you miss out on lots of stuff
@@ace5 hmmm but you don't know about any that work for both? other wise unreal is also great to render I have been using that its just a little hassle to go back and forth between them but 8K render its only about 4 min a frame
octane and redshift i think both work. but yeah, i feel like unreal is the way to go nowadays :))
just another render.. GPU and for windows only..Want some really cool that would get all the attention? Get a mac M1 version, real native version. That would be a really cool to look at
Apple doesn't really care about professionals.. it's why they don't have a single nvidia machine. And they actively release updates to prevent people from using nvidia cards.. i don't get why people want to keep supporting them by buying their hardware..
