    This is the most inspiration thing that I would ever hear :
    -When you face the uncertainty of what might be,you can turn it into of the certainty of what will be,you will find yourself in something new and different , adapting and succeeding.
    And sometimes , you will know that you have left a light on to help you find your way home .
    -We have planted roots that can never be destroyed

    it is really sad and no one out of Afghanistan can imagine how conditions we have. currently I live inside Afghanistan and for each single word that Shabana told here, I cried. my tears are rolling down when I look at my destiny. the obistacles and barriers for both girls and boys are equal right now. I have worked in a bank and since they took control of the country, we are jobless for 10 months.
    how dark our destiny has been.
    our generation in Afghanistan the only dreams that have right now, is having a job and support their family. after 16 years of education, I am not able to have a job with 100$ per month salary.
    we cry day and night that finally what should we do and where to go.
    I wish I weren't born

      @Nairah912 2 года назад

      Well considering there’s over a billion Muslims in the world and the majority of us don’t share the views of the taliban or other extremist groups then it’s not the religion. It’s hard to believe that the problem is religion because the problem isn’t religion. When the KKK lynched African Americans it wasn’t Christianity that made them act that way, but you can be sure that as “Christians” themselves, ( I don’t see them as Christian’s because of their cruelty) they used Christianity to justify their actions to themselves.

  • @ishrendon6435
    @ishrendon6435 3 года назад +3

    The taliban were never gone. I dont mean to sound like the downer here but im a realist. The reason the taliban are back amd not the US or nato back government is because the taliban had local rural support and werent corrupt like the Us and nato back government pr the puppet regime they installed same mistake the US made in Vietnam and seemed to not learn you cant rig someone to win when they have no support of the people. Its not wonder the people Afghanistan literally welcomed the taliban without putting up a fight because theyre the afghan people theyre the mujahideen fighting against the non islamic imperial forces trying to change there culture. I know you may not agree with it but again it doesn't matter as an outsider your opinion is useless. We are not colonial powers anymore (i hope we dont go back to those days) we can go in guns ablazing and try to coerce others to be like us and think like us that is very much imperialism and im sure if any of your nations were invaded by a foreign power you would resist them trying to impose there values on you. Its natural to resist. Its about looking at the whole picture amd seeing the world not as black or white of course us westerners think we're right and have high morals. The taliban think that as well both sides of amy conflict think theyre right ,morality is subjective. Also she is clearly not from the vast rural society she is from the city funny how they never address the rural people who mostly supported the taliban.. again you have to look at the whole picture. This talk about educating girls and all this nonsense is a cop out. Btw all the funds that were supposed to be used to build girls schools were quite coincidentally finding there ways in the pockets of politicians and not being invested in schools for girls. Loke wtf is she talking about i have to wonder has she eve been to Afghanistan. Ive seen this crappy schools and the crappy teachers they hire . These teachers are mainly illiterate!!!!!!

    • @lucasstanding6510
      @lucasstanding6510 3 года назад +1

      Part of it is definitely because the UNODC and the US continued counternarcotics programs which resulted in rural afghan opium farmers taking the side of the Taliban. The Taliban made most of its money for guns off the opium trade because the US wouldn't legitimize the jobs of these workers. Notably, the majority of Afghanistan's rural GDP comes from opium so it's no wonder so many rural communities sided with the Taliban
      Alternative development programs that focused on eradicating opium and replacing it with wheat and potatos just dispossessed the farmers who didn't meet the criteria for the program making the problem worse. Not sure why the US wouldn't just repurpose the sale of opium into the legal production of painkillers/medicine...
      But hey let's stick to the War on Drugs right?
      As a side note, even though morality is *largely* subjective, I do believe cultural universalism has a place here. Beheadings are certainly not moral whether the Taliban thinks so or not and I don't believe it is imperialistic to demand they stop beheading people. The line between imperialism versus reasonable intervention is human rights violations. Unfortunately the West isn't always best equipped to intervene for these violations as they loop in non-related values and ideologies (I.e., it becomes imperialistic). As illustrated by the issues that arise when they push their War on Drugs neoliberal ideologies. The goal should be to end the human rights violations without doing so using imperialism like the U.S. tends to do... A lot.
      Of course a lot of this stems from how the U.S. constructs morality in the first place (i.e., 'drug producers and sellers are immoral') so to them, they believe the production of opium in itself is a human rights violation, downstream at least. Ironically, it is usually prohibition which creates these human rights violations, but they much rather blame the opium poppy in this case.
      In short, I don't believe intervention is wrong, but the methodology used for intervention by the West has been massively flawed and needs to be rethought without the emphasis on pushing Western values and ideologies.
