This Year’s College Admissions Results at The University of Texas at Austin

UT Austin received a record-breaking 73,000 undergraduate applications this year, a 20% jump from previous years! It's more popular than ever, but that means admissions could be tougher. For students not automatically admitted (based on Texas high school rank), the overall acceptance rate is 11% this year. Some majors, like computer science, business, engineering, and nursing, have now become even more competitive.

I wish someone could prepare a portal for admitted students to self report Activities, ECs, Test Scores and Class Rank. This will help other aspiring students to draw inspiration and model from. Many opportunities are unknown to many parents and students - even those that truly aim higher and look everywhere.
